Res 2007- 85 Approving Plan/Wetlands Permit @ 1301 MH Rdit CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 07 -85 A RESOLUTION APPROVING SITE AND BUILDING PLAN AND WETLAND PERMIT AT 1301 MENDOTA HEIGHTS ROAD WHEREAS, Tim McILwain, HCM Architects, on behalf of Patterson Dental Companies has applied for a Building and Site Plan and approval and Wetlands Permit at 1301 Mendota Heights Road [Lots 1 & 2, Block 1 IOS Plaza Addition, PIN: 27- 34800- 010-01] as proposed in Planning Case #07 -31; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application at their regular meeting on August 28, 2007; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted to recommend that the Council approve the Wetlands Permit as presented to the Planning Commission on the evening of August 28, 2007 and as shown in Planning Case #07 =31. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that a Preliminary and Final Plat as proposed in Planning Case #07 -31 is hereby approved with the following conditions: 1. The acceptability of the proposed new access shall be subject to comment and recommendation by the City Engineer. 2. Issues related to grading, drainage and utilities shall be subject to comment and recommendation by the City Engineer. 3. Prior to any relocation or addition of any sign, an application for sign permit must be completed with the City and a sign permit must be approved by City staff. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in support of the above approval, the Council hereby makes the following Findings of Fact: The proposed building and parking lot additions generally conform to applicable requirements of the Zoning Ordinance 2. The application is consistent with the intent of the Wetlands Ordinance, which is to ensure that alterations do not degrade or threaten the water quality of the wetland area.
