AN ORDINANCE prohibiting the depositing, throwing,
scattering 6r leaving. of° ,garbage or refuse upon
streets, z4lleys parkways, or vacant lots; the burn -
ing of` any fire upon .streets alleys or highways and
providing a pcnaty txeref+r.
The Village 0ouncil of Mendota Heights ordains as follows:
Section 1. it shall be unlawful for any pe ,-son, firm or corpor-
ation to cause or permit garbage, tin cans$ trash, waste pape'r's
rubbish, glass, metal,, grass clippings, tree clippings, `hedge ,, ;
clippings, shrub clippings or lawn rakings to be deposited,
thrown, scattered or :eft upon any street, alley, . highway, park-
way, boulevard., gutter., or upon any vacant or unoccupied real,
estate within the corporate limits of the village or to f4�10
neglect or refuse to remove the same,
eotlon 11. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or Torpor-
ation to burn any sweepings, trash; lumber, leaves, straw paper,
;grass or any combustible material upon any street, alley., gut ter,,
or highway within the corporate limits 6f-the village.
Section Ill. Any person,, ri, arm :err corporation violating any pro-
vision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed
One Hundred Dollars $100.00) or by imprisonment for not to exceed
ninety (90) days,,
Section IV. Th ,ordinanae shall take erfeat and be in force
from and after its passage and publication..
