Res 2006- 36 Establishing Election Precinct Polling PlacesCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 06-36 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ELECTION PRECINCT POLLING PLACES WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute, Chapter 204B.16 requires City Council resolution for the dedication or rededication of election precinct polling places; and WHEREAS, the designated Precinct No. 5 polling place, 2455 Visitation Drive, is no longer available for election use; and WHEREAS, the only appropriate polling place facility within Precinct No 5 is Friendly Hills Middle School; and WHEREAS, designated Precinct No. 5 polling place be Friendly Hills Middle School. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that the following be established as the polling place locations for General, City and Special elections: Precinct No. 1 - Somerset Elementary School 1355 Dodd Road, north gymnasium Precinct No. 2 - Mendota Heights City Hall 1101 Victoria Curve Precinct No. 3 - Mendota Elementary School 1979 Summit Lane, gymnasium Precinct No. 4 - St. Paul United Methodist Church 700 Wesley Lane Precinct No. 5 - Friendly Hills Middle School 701 Mendota Heights Road, gymnasium BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the polling place locations herein established shall remain effective until redesignation by resolution of the City Council.
