RESOLUTION NO. 08 -17
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
ON SOMERSET PARK /EVERGREEN KNOLLS REHABILITATION PROJECT (PROJECT #200802)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 08 -11, the City Council, on February 21, 2008, ordered a
feasibility report to be prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of Bachelor Avenue,
Deer Trail Court, Deer Trail Point, Evergreen Knoll, Gryc Court, Lansford Lane, Pamela Lane, Round Hill
Road, Stanwich Lane, Sutton Lane, Trail Road and Wachtler Avenue from Evergreen Knoll to Wentworth
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted a report to the City Council with respect to Bachelor
Avenue, Deer Trail Court, Deer Trail Point, Evergreen Knoll, Gryc Court, Lansford Lane, Pamela Lane, Round
Hill Road, Stanwich Lane, Sutton Lane, Trail Road and Wachtler Avenue from Evergreen Knoll to Wentworth
Avenue improvements which include milling, bituminous overlay, and appurtenant work; and
WHEREAS, in said report the City Engineer reported that the proposed improvements and
construction thereof are desirable and necessary, technically and economically feasible, cost effective, and
further reported on the estimated cost of the proposed improvements; and
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota
- Heights, Minnesota as follows:
1. The City Council hereby accepts the Feasibility Report as submitted for an estimated total cost
of the improvements of $531,204.
2. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and
the assessment of property as described in the report for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429.
3. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 15`h day of April, 2008
at City Hall, 1101 Victoria Curve, City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. Statutory
notice and publication requirements shall be followed.
