RESOLUTION 08 -18
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A LOT SPLIT AT 1900 WACHTLER AVE
WHEREAS, Betty Schuster has applied for a Lot Split to create an additional lot
at 1900 Wachtler Ave [PIN: 27- 71050- 222 -00; attached] as proposed in Planning Case
#08 -07; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application
at their regular meeting on March 25, 2008; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted to recommend that the Council
approve Lot Split as presented to the Planning Commission on the evening of March 25,
2008 and as shown in Planning Case #08 -07.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that Lot Split at 1900 Wachtler Ave as proposed in Planning
Case #08 -07 is hereby approved with the following conditions:
1. Park and trail dedication requirements shall be satisfied as a cash fee in lieu of
land. Such fee shall be paid prior to filing the lot split
2. Connection charges for street, sanitary sewer and water main shall be paid prior to
filing the lot split
3. The applicant shall submit grading/topography plans and utility plans, subject to
review and approval of the City Engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in support of the above approval, the
Council hereby makes the following Findings of Fact:
1. The proposed lot split meets the requirements of the Subdivision Ordinance.
