AN ORDINANCE DEFINING AND PROHIBITING TRESPASS
AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
The Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights ordains
as follows:
Section 1. Whoever intentionally does any of the following may
be sentenced in accordance with the provisions of Section 2:
A. Interferes unlawfully with any monument, sign or
pointer erected or marked to designate a point of a
boundary line or a political subdivision or of a tract
of land, or
B. Trespasses upon the premises of another and without
claim of right refuses to depart therefrom on demand of
the lawful possessor thereof, or
C. Enters the premises of another with intent to take
or injure any fruit, fruit trees, or vegetables growing
thereon without the permission of the owner or occupant,
or
D. Without the permission of the owner, tampers with or
gets into or upon a motor vehicle or rides in or upon
such motor vehicle knowing it was taken and is being
driven by another without the permission of the owner.
Section 2. Any person who shall commit an act of trespass as
hereinabove defined in this ordinance, shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor and upon conviction therefor, shall be punished by a
fine of not to exceed $100, or by imprisonment for not to exceed
90 days.
