Ord 50 Prohibiting Minors from Possession of Intox BeveragesORDINANCE NO. J U VILLAGE OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS County, Minnesota _DA1<o M AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PURCHASE, CONSUMPTION AND POSSESSION OF INTOXICATING BEVERAGES BY MINORS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. The Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights ordains as follows: Section 1. It shall be unlawful and in violation of this or- dinance for any: A. Licensee or his employee to sell or serve intox- icating liquor or non - intoxicating malt liquor to any minor or to permit any minor to consume intoxicating liquor or non - intoxicating malt liquor on the licensed premises unless accompanied by his parent or legal guardian; B. Person other than the parent or legal guardian to procure intoxicating liquor or non - intoxicating malt liquor for any minor; C. Person to induce a minor to purchase or procure intoxicating liquor or non - intoxicating malt liquor; D. Minor to misrepresent his age for the purpose of obtaining intoxicating liquor or non - intoxicating malt liquor; E. Minor to consume any intoxicating liquor or non - intoxicating malt liquor unless in the company of his parent or guardian; F. Minor to have in his possession any intoxicating liquor or non - intoxicating malt liquor, with intent to consume same at a place other than the household of his parent or guardian. Possession of such intoxicating liquor or non- intoxicating malt liquor at a place other than the household of his parent or guardian shall be prima facie evidence of intent to consume the same at a place other than the household of his parent or guardian. Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction therefor, be punished by a fine of not to exceed $100 or by imprisonment for not to exceed 90 days.
