ORDINANCE NO. 3,-Z,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE ZONING
ORDINANCE
The Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights
ordains as.follows:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 32 adopted April 3, 1962,
entitled "The Zoning Ordinance of Mendota Heights,
Relating to a Comprehensive Amendment and Rezoning
of the Village, Amending Zoning Ordinance No. 5
Originally Passed by the Village of Mendota Heights
on May 1, 1956, as Amended" being also known as the
Village Zoning Ordinance as amended by Ordinance No.
58 adopted May 17, 1966, and Ordinance No. 60 adopted
June 7, 1966, is hereby amended to rezone from R -1
(One Family Residential District) to R -3A (Multiple
Family Residential District) the following described
property situated within the Village of Mendota
Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota, to-wit:
The entire portion, west of Interstate Highway
Rights of Way, of Government Lot 6, Section 26,
Township 28 North, Range 23 West, except for
and excluding therefrom and hereunder the fol-
lowing described parcels, to -wit:
(a) The west 280 feet of the north
300 feet thereof containing 1.929
Acres.
(b) A tract commencing at a point on
the north south 1 line, and 300 feet
south of the North j corner of said
Section 26, Township 28 North, Range
23 West, thence south along said T
line a distance of 200 feet, thence
east and parallel to the east west
section line on the north, a distance
of 208 feet, thence north and parallel
to the 1 line on the west, a
distance of 200 feet, thence west
and parallel to the section line on
the north, a distance of 208 feet to
the point of beginning, containing
0.96 Acres.
(c) A tract commencing at the S.W.
corner of said Government Lot 6, Section
26, Township 28 North, Range 23 West,
thence north along the 1 line a distance
of 457 feet to the point of beginning:
thence east and parallel to the east west
section line between SectiorS 23 and 26,
Township 28 North, Range 23 West, a distance
of 100 feet, thence deflect right on a curve,
radius 150 feet for a distance of 112 feet,
thence north on a line parallel to the afore-
mentioned north south V line a distance of 225
feet, thence west and parallel to the section
line north, a distance of 210 feet to the north
south 1 line, thence south along said line
a distance of 204 feet to the point of begin-
ning, containing 1.00 Acres.
(d) A tract commencing at the S.W. corner
of said Government Lot 6, Section 26, Township
28 North, Range 23 West Dakota County, Minnesota,
thence north along the 1 line a distance of 197
feet to the point of beginning: thence east
and parallel to the east & west section line
between said Sections 23 and 26, Township 28
North, Range 23 West, a distance of 210 feet,
thence deflect right on a curve, radius 170 feet
for a distance of 110 feet, thence deflect left
at an angle of 74 degrees a distance of 110 feet,
thence deflect left at an angle of 74 degrees
a distance of 75 feet, thence deflect left on a
curve, radius 110 feet for a distance of 105 feet,
thence west and parallel to the aforementioned sec-
tion line a distance of 142 feet to a point on
the north south 1 line, thence south along said
4 line a distance of 203 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 1.00 Acres.
(e) The West 210 feet of the south 197 feet
thereof containing 0.950 Acres.
SECTION 2. The zoning map of the Village of Mendota
Heights referred to and described in said Ordinance No. 32
as that certain map entitled "Zoning Map of Mendota Heights,
Minnesota, April 3, 1962," shall not be republished to show

the aforesaid rezoning, but the Clerk shall appropriately
mark the said zoning map on file in the Clerk's office for
the purpose of indicating the rezoning hereinabove provided
for in this Ordinance. Said map as amended to indicate the
rezoning hereinabove provided for in this Ordinance and all
of the notations, references and other information shown
thereon are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part
of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its publication according to law.
Enacted and ordained into an ordinance this 16th day
of August, 1966.
