Settlement Reached
On Tuesday, November 22, 2011, the
Mendota Heights City Council approved a
settlement with Mendota Mall Associates in
litigation over the relocation of the sanitary
sewer which runs through the Mendota Plaza
Redevelopment. The planned unit
development for the site the construction of a
four-story assisted living facility and called for
the sewer line to be moved. Included in the
settlement provisions are plans for a single -
story facility which will not require relocation of
the sanitary sewer line.
Staff is anticipating the developer to provide
the new site plans on Monday, December 5,
2011.

Kudos to Sharon Hinze Pam Deeb and
Tammy Schutta for pulling the event
together—City Hall smelled like Tommy

Repeater at City Hall
City staff carry phones and smart devices
which utilize the Sprint network. Among the
areas in Mendota Heights where the cellular
signal was weak was City Hall. This week
contractors installed a new repeater to ensure
that phones and mobile devices are fully
functional from any area within City Hall.
