ORDINANCE NO. 181-A
ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MENDOTA HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
The City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, ordains as
follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 301 known and referred to as the "Mendota
Heights Subdivision Ordinance" is hereby amended in the following respects:
A. Paragraphs 3.1(1), 3.1(2) and 12.1 of said Ordinance are amended in
their entirety so that as so amended said paragraphs shall read as follows:
3.1(1) Filing. Fifteen (15) copies of the preliminary plat shall be
filed with the City Clerk. The required filing fee as established in
Section XII shall be paid and any necessary applications for variances
from the provisions of this Ordinance shall be filed with the required
fee before the proposed plat shall be considered officially filed. All
plats shall be accompanied by an abstractor's certificate, properly certified,
identifying the owner of the property in question, and the owners of all
properties situated within 350 feet of the boundary of the property in
question.
3.1(2) Hearing. Upon receipt of said application, the City Clerk shall
establish the date for a public hearing by the Planning Commission and
shall be responsible for the mailing and publication of hearing notices.
The Planning Commission shall conduct the hearing, and report upon findings and
make recommendations to the City Council. Notice of said hearing shall be
published in the official newspaper at least ten (10) days prior to the
hearing and written notification of said hearing shall-be mailed at least
ten (10) days prior to the hearing to all owners of land identified on the
above named abstractor's certificate.
12.1 To defray administrative costs for processing of subdivision applications,
variances, or appeals, a base fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per
application shall be paid by all applicants.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its publication according to law.
