AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 802
The City Council of the City of Mendota.Heights, Minnesota, ordains as
follows:
SECTION 1. ordinance No. 802 entitled "An ordinance Relating to and Regulating
The Use of Water and Sewer in the City.of Mendota Heights Establishing Rules and
Regulations for the Administration of the Water and Sewer Systems in the City
and Matters Relating Thereto" is hereby amended in the following respects:
A. Section 2 of said ordinance No. 802 is hereby amended in its
entirety so that as amended said Section 2 of said ordinance
No. 802 shall read as follows:
SECTION 2. Applications, Permits and Fees
No person, firm or corporation shall proceed with the construction,
enlargement, alteration, repair or make any type of connection to
the water system, sanitary sewer system, or storm sewer system
except upon making an application therefor on a form provided by the
City and receiving a permit issued by the City for such purposes.
The applicant shall pay to the City Clerk a permit fee in an amount
established from time to time by resolution of the City Council of
the City for any water connection and any sewer connection. In
addition to the foregoing where application is made for connection
to the sanitary sewer or water systems, a street surface restoration
charge shall be collected in an amount established from time to time
by resolution of the City Council. Fees for the connection of non-
residential uses shall be based upon schedules as determined by the
City Council with the assistance of the City Engineer.
B. Wherever used in ordinance No. 802, "Building Inspector" shall be
replaced with "Code Enforcement officer."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
publication according to law.
Enacted and ordained into an ordinance this 3rd day of November, 1981.
