AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 805
The City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota ordains as
follows:
SECTION 1. ordinance No. 805 entitled "An ordinance Establishing
Sewer Service Availability and Connection Charge to Pay
Reserve Capacity Costs of Metropolitan Sewer Board" is
hereby amended in the following respects:
A. The title of said ordinance is hereby amended so that as
amended said title shall read as follows:
An ordinance Establishing Sewer Service Availability and
Connection Charge to Pay Reserve capacity Costs of
Metropolitan Waste Control Commission
B. Wherever used in ordinance No. 805, "Metropolitan Sewer
Board shall be replaced with "Metropolitan Waste Control
Commission."
C. Paragraph 2.3 of Section 2 is hereby amended in its entirety
so that as amended said Paragraph 2.3 of said ordinance No.
805 shall read as follows:
2.3 The charge for each building or structure shall be
equal to the number of units of sewage volume which
it will discharge, multiplied by $425 for 1981 and
multiplied by an amount as established by the
Metropolitan Waste Control Commission for each year
thereafter. A "Unit" of sewage volume as that term
is used hereunder shall be deemed to be 100,000
gallons per year and shall be assigned as follows:
Section 2. This ordinance shall.be in full force and effect from and
after its publication according to law.
Enacted and ordained into an ordinance this 3rd day of November, 1981.
