Ord 191 Municipal Sanitary Sewer SystemORDINANCE NO. 191 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 803 The City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, ordains as follows: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 803 entitled "An ordinance Regulating the Operation of the Municipal Sanitary Sewer System: Requiring Connections to be made to the Municipal Sanitary Sewer. System; Establishing Regulations as to Types and Kinds of Wastes That May Be Disposed of by the Use of the Municipal Sanitary Sewer System; Prohibiting the Discharge of Any Type or Kind of Surface Waters Into the Municipal Sanitary Sewer System and Prescribing the Method of Establishing Rates and Charges for Disposal Service" is hereby amended in the following respects: A. A new Section 8.3 shall be added to said ordinance providing in its entirety as follows: Where a residential property has been connected to the municipal sanitary sewer system and thereafter such property is not used or occupied as a residence for a period of at least two continuous years, there shall be no further municipal sanitary sewer rental charges levied against said property until such time as said property is sold or thereafter used or occupied as a residence. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its publication according to law. Enacted and ordained into an ordinance this 3rd day of November, 1981.
