RESOLUTION 08 -84
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AT
1416 DODD ROAD
WHEREAS, Tim Gunderson, on behalf of the Somerset Country Club has
applied for a Conditional Use Permit to renovate the bath house at 1416 Dodd Road
[PIN: 27- 03800 - 010 -54, lots 52 and 54 Auditors Subdivision #3] as proposed in Planning
Case #08 -28; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application
at their regular meeting on October 28, 2008; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted to recommend that the Council
approve the Conditional Use Permit as presented to the Planning Commission on the
evening of October 28, 2008 and as shown in Planning Case #08 -28.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a Conditional Use Permit at 1416 Dodd Road as
proposed in Planning Case #08 -28 is hereby approved with the following findings of fact:
1. The proposed renovation and addition will not affect the health, safety and
general welfare of the residents, surrounding land, or overall community.
2. The proposed project will not depreciate the surrounding property value.
3. The proposed project will not negatively affect the Comprehensive Plan and is in
harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
