Res 2009- 78 Adopting Assessment for 694 WentworthCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 09-78 RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT FOR 694 WENTWORxH AVENUE STRUCTURE DEMOLITION PROJECT (PROJECT #20n90// WHEREAS, a contract * �vuo let and costs have been dctozouioedfor the dcouoI�iuuofu partial structure at 694 Wentworth Avenue, including: construction material, structure, and foundation removal; site grading; and turf establishment over disturbed orcu8. The total value of work performed on the property is $22'074.82; and WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Mendota Heights City Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the structure demolition ut6g4 Wentworth Avenue (Project #2O09O7). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OFMENDOTA HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA: l. The total cost toboassessed against the is declared 1ole 82. 2. Such proposed assessment imhereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the land named tbozobz'ondtho tract of land therein included io hereby found tobo benefited hv the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 3. Such assessment shall be payable io equal annual principal bmtuDozootncxteod' over uperiod of I year. The first of the installments shall be the annual principal plus interest calculated from the public hearing date to the end of this year plus the remaining months of the assessment period into the next year and shall bear interest utthe rate of6%per annum from the date nf the adoption of the assessment resolution. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year ou all unpaid installments. 4. The City Clerk shall prepare and transmit to the County Auditor a certified duplicate of said assessment with each then unpaid installment and interest set forth separately, to be extended upon the proper tax lists of the County, and the County Auditor shall thereafter collect said assessment iu the manner provided hylaw.
