Minutes of the Election Canvassing Board Meeting
Held Wednesday, November 8, 2006
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Election Canvassing Board meeting of the City Council, City
of Mendota Heights, Minnesota was held at 10:00 o'clock A.M. at City Hall, 1101 Victoria Curve,
Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
Councilmember Krebsbach called the meeting to order at 10:00 o'clock A.M. The following members
were present: Councilmembers Krebsbach, Schneeman and Duggan.
The City Council, acting in its capacity as election Canvassing Board, accepted the results of the casting
and canvass of votes in the November 7, 2006 General and City Election, as presented by the City Clerk
and as follows:

Councilmember Krebsbach moved that the Canvassing Board find
that John J. Huber is elected Mayor for a two year tern and that
Ultan Duggan and Mary Jeanne Schneeman are elected to the City
Council for four year terms.
Councilmember Duggan seconded the motion.
Councilmember Krebsbach noted the quality of the election judges
and staff. She asked that the election judges be given recognition in
the next issue of the city newsletter. She also expressed appreciation
to all of the staff members who participated in the election
preparation and processing.
City Clerk Swanson informed Council that all of the staff members
who assisted with the election did an excellent job and that even
though she has been fortunate over the years to have wonderful staff
members to work with, this is the best staff she has seen. She
expressed appreciation to Pam Deeb, Sharon Hinze, Sam Kuchinka,
Guy Kullander, Tom Olund, Ryan Ruzek, Linda Shipton and Sandie
Thone for their excellent assistance and special appreciation to
Nancy Bauer and temporary personnel Becky Pentel and Cathy Iago
for their outstanding work before, during and after the election.
ADJOURN There being no further business to come before Council,
Councilmember Duggan moved that the meeting be adjourned.
Councilmember Schneeman seconded the motion.
