RESOLUTION 10 -55
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT A DETACHED
GARAGE AT 574 HIWATHA AVENUE
WHEREAS, Troy and Alyssa Troje have applied for a conditional use permit to construct a detached
garage at 574 Hiwatha Ave [Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Cherokee Park Heights according to the replat thereof; PID
271710002002] as proposed in planning case #10 -12; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission held a public hearing on this application at their regular meeting
on July 27, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the .planning commission recommended that the council approve the conditional use permit
to construct a detached garage as presented to the planning commission on the evening of July 27, 2010 and as
shown in planning case #10 -12.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mendota Heights City Council that a conditional use
permit to construct a detached garage as proposed in planning case #10 -12 is hereby approved with the following
condition:
1. Verification that the garage meet applicable 10 foot side and rear yard setback requirements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Mendota Heights City Council that a conditional use permit to
construct a detached garage as proposed in planning case #10 -12 is hereby approved with the following finding
of fact:
. The proposed structure is consistent with the intent of the conditional use permit clause allowing
detached garages.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this Third day of August 2010.
