Res 2012-103 JPA Authorize City Adm to Sign Master Subscriber AgrCity of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 2012-103 RESOLUTION FORMALLY AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO SIGN JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT "MASTER SUBSCRIBER AGREEMENT AMENDMENT FOR 'FAST ACCESS' " WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Court Agreement requires a Joint Powers Agreement to provide court records access during the First Appearance in criminal courts; and WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Court Agreement requires a Joint Powers Agreement Amendment for 'FAST Access' (First Appearance Support Track) to provide court records access; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator is required to sign the Master Subscriber Agreement Amendment for 'FAST Access'; and WHEREAS, the Master Agreement Amendment between the City of Mendota Heights and the Minnesota State Court Administrators Office initiates the process of improving court record access for the prosecuting attorney; and WHEREAS, the City is regularly represented by William Bernard, Jerome Porter and Barry Wittenkeller in the Dakota County Criminal Courts; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to ensure the prosecuting attorneys have access to available court records in a timely manner. NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights authorizes the City Administrator to sign the: JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT "MASTER SUBSCRIBER AGREEMENT AMENDMENT FOR 'FAST ACCESS.'
