Ordinance 588 Amending Fee Schedule to Add Reinspection FeesCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE 110.588 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE SECTION 9-6-1(A) TO ADD REINSPECTION FEES WHEREAS, the City has adopted the City Fee Schedule and desires to amend the City Code and the current Fee Schedule to reflect changes and the addition of re -inspection fees; and WHEREAS, the CiTy's revised fee schedule for 2024 is set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS ORDAINS: Section 1. The City Fee Schedule is amended by the addition of the following language: CODE ENFORCEMENT INSPECTIONS Initial Inspection No Fee First re-ms e�ction $100 Second re -inspection 150 Any Subsequent Inspections $150 Sec. 9-6-1 fAl (no charge if resolved after first ins ecu tion) Section 2. City Code Section 9-6-1 (A) is amended by the addition of the following underlined language: A. Paid In Accordance With City Fee Schedule: Except as otherwise stated in this code, the fees for the various licenses, permits, services inspections, re -inspections, and functions rendered shall be paid in accordance with the city fee schedule, as adopted by resolution by the city council. In the case of violations to this code, the violator and the property owner of record where applicable, shall be responsible for any city costs in enforcing the provisions of this code including re -inspection fees or other fees charges,or penalties that are imposed as permitted by law. Section 3. Effective date. This ordinance shall be effective upon adoption and publication according to law. ADOPTED this 7th day of May 2024 by the Mendota Heights City Council.
