Officer spoke with reporting party and gathered information. Officer wrote report. 10/11/24, 0818 HOURS, 10XX DAKOTA DR FRAUD Officer received a report of a forged check being cashed. This matter is under investigation. 10/11/24, 1259 HOURS, 7XX MARIE AVE PROPERTY DAMAGE Officer dispatched to the Mendota Heights PD lobby for damage to a political yard sign. Officer took information and wrote a report. 10/11/24, 1409 HOURS, 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY THREATS Officer received information from another law enforcement agency regarding threats towards historic structures. Information forwarded to other authorities. 10/13/24, 1801 HOURS, 20XX LEXINGTON AVE S PROPERTY DAMAGE Officers took a report of damage to property near the 2000 block of Lexington Avenue. There are no suspects at this time. 10/13/24, 2117 HOURS, 19XX DODD RD ABANDONED AUTO Officer observed unoccupied vehicle EB Hwy 62. Vehicle was blocking right turn lane. Vehicle was towed and driver was notified. Case Status: Informational only 10/13/24, 2149 HOURS, CONCORD/HERITAGE ANIMAL A small black and brown dog was found near the intersection of Concord Way and Heritage Drive. The phone number on the collar was no longer in service and no owner was located. The dog was transported to the South Saint Paul Animal Hospital. 10/14/24, 1611 HOURS, 17XX LEXINGTON AVE S THEFT Officer took a report of a theft from mail that occurred near the 1000 block of Lexington Avenue. There are no suspects at this time. October 11th—October 18th, 2024 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report 10/15/24, 0243 HOURS, DODD/MENDOTA HTS RD WARRANT ARREST Officer was assisting the MN State Patrol with locating a vehicle near the intersection of Dodd Road and Mendota Heights road for the registered owner of the vehicle having a felony warrant. The officer located the vehicle and stopped it at the intersection of Haverton Road and Mendota Heights Road. The driver was arrested and booked inthe Dakota County Jail for the warrant. CASE STATUS: Adult arrest. 10/17/24, 0310 HOURS, HWY 62/DODD RD WARRANT/DRUGS Officer's stopped a bicyclist EB Hwy 62/ Dodd Rd. Officer identified individual and found male had active Dakota County Warrant. Officer's located a suspected controlled substance on individual. Male was placed under arrest and transported to Dakota County Jail. Suspected controlled substance was forwarded to Dakota County Drugs Task Force. 10/17/24, 2300 HOURS, 23XX PUEBLO DR ANIMAL Officer's responded to 2300 block of Pueblo Drive for a animal call relating to a dog attack, officers arrived and gathered information. Potentially dangerous dog form completed. October 11th—October 18th, 2024
