09/13/24, 1146 HOURS, 10XX DAKOTA DR FRAUD
Officer dispatched to a local bank for a fraud/forgery in progress. This matter is under investigation.
09/14/24, 1204 HOURS, 7XX SOUTH PLAZA DR FRAUD
Officers received a report of an elderly female who was not conscious, not breathing on the 700 block of South
Plaza Drive. Upon Officers arrival, they located the female and determined she was deceased. She was believed to
have passed away naturally.
09/14/24, 1724 HOURS, 10XX HWY 62 SUSPICIOUS
Officers received a report of a male who was not conscious and not breathing in the bathroom of a gas station on
the 1000 block of Highway 62. Officers arrived on scene and administered narcan and began CPR. The male was
later declared deceased. This incident is under investigation
09/15/24, 0222 HOURS, I35E/Hwy 62 DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Officers documented a report of a Felony Domestic Assault at the intersection of Interstate 35E and Highway 62.
The victim reported being physically assaulted and strangled. Additionally the suspect interfered with the 911 call
by taking the victim's phone. The suspect committed property damage to the vehicle before the victim was able to
escape and have someone call 911. The suspect was gone on arrival, and KOPS alert was issued. CASE STATUS:
Active - pending charges/arrest.
09/15/24, 1415 HOURS, 7XX ROUNDHILL RD THEFT
Officer received a report of a theft and TP ’ing on the 700 block of Round Hill Road. Officer spoke with the adult
victim who stated their LGBTQ+ pride flags had been taken and a tree in their yard had been TP'd. No suspects nor
surveillance footage at this time. Case status is inactive.
09/15/24, 1857 HOURS, 1XXX WINSTON CIR DOG BITE/DANGEROUS
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Winston Circle in response to a dog bite. Officers spoke with all parties
involved and transported the aggressive dog to the animal hospital to be quarantined. The other dog involved was
later put down at the veterinarian's office due to its injuries. The aggressive dog was declared dangerous.

09/16/24, 0806 HOURS, 23XX APACHE CT MAIL THEFT
Officer took a report of mail theft that occurred in the 2300 Block of Apache Ct. Officer went to the neighborhood
and saw several mailboxes with the door hanging open. Case Status: Inactive
09/16/24, 1521 HOURS, 7XX WESLEY LN FRAUD
Officer received a report of fraudulent activity on the 700 block of Wesley Lane. This report is under investigation.
09/16/24, 1631 HOURS, 13XX MENDOTA HTS RD SWINDLE
Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of Mendota Heights Road for a report of a theft. Officer spoke with the
reporting party, and it was determined a company fell for a scam and shipped over $100,000 worth of product and
were never paid. Case is active.
09/17/24, 1331 HOURS, 2X DORSET RD FRAUD
Officer took a fraud report at the police department lobby. The reporting party had documentation showing a new
account was created for a wireless carrier they do not use. The documentation also shows two iPhones and an
iPad were purchased. Case Status: Active
09/18/24, 2352 HOURS, PILOT KNOB/MENDOTA HTS RD WARRANT
Officer observed wrong way driver near the intersection of Pilot Knob Rd/ Mendota Heights Rd. Officer stopped
and identified driver. Officer learned driver had a warrant out of Hennepin County. Driver was arrested and
transported to Dakota County Jail. Case Status: Adult Arrest
09/19/24, 1618 HOURS, 1X HINGHAM CIR MAIL THEFT
Officers received a phone call regarding a mail theft that occurred near the 10 block of Hingham Circle where the
caller reported their mail had been stolen. A piece of mail that was stolen contained a credit card which was later
used to make fraudulent purchases. This incident is being investigated.
