9 13 24 WEEKLY CRIME REPORT 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report 09/06/24, 1802 HOURS, 5XX VALLEY LN WEAPONS Officers responded to the 500 block of Valley Ln on reports of a person who shot outside of their home. Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and the suspect was taken to the hospital. The suspect was later arrested. 09/07/24, 1521 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY DISTURBING THE PEACE Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy for a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with all parties involved. Officers arrested one party and transported them to jail. 09/07/24, 1806 HOURS, 21XX HWY 13 WELFARE CHECK Officer was dispatched to a welfare check at the 2100 block of Hwy 13. Officer spoke with reporting party who advised that she received suicidal comments from a family member. Officers made contact with patient and medics transported patient to the hospital. 09/08/24, 0143 HOURS, 1XX MORELAND AVE AOA Officers were requested by South St. Paul Police Department to complete a crash report relating to a single vehicle crash near the 100 block of Moreland Avenue East in West St Paul. One individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. A state crash report has been completed relating to this incident. 09/08/24, 1251 HOURS, 12XX DODD RD DOMESTIC Officers were called to the 1200 block of Dodd Road for a report of a physical domestic between siblings. Officers arrived on scene and talked to the victim and mother who were locked out of the house. Officers made contact with the suspect through a bathroom window and convinced the suspect to leave the house. Officers arrested the suspect for domestic assault and interfering with a 911 call. Suspect was transported to the Dakota County Jail. 09/08/24, 1711 HOURS, 2XXX SWAN DR HARASSING COMMUNICATION Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Swan Drive for a report of harassment. Officers spoke with the reporting party and determined that the messages amounted to a level of a crime. Case forwarded to the county attorney for charging. September 6th—September 12th, 2024 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report 09/09/24, 0756 HOURS, 14XX NORTHLAND DR DISORDERLY CONDUCT Officers responded to the 1400 block of Northland Drive on reports of a person shooting geese in the middle of the road. Upon arrival, officers learned the subject was shooting illegal fireworks at the geese. Seized remainder of fireworks and cleared with a warning. 09/09/24, 1109 HOURS, 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY IDENTITY THEFT Officers took a report of identity theft from the 1000 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Reporting party stated that they received information about items being purchased with their credit card and being shipped to a different state. Case pending suspect information. 09/10/24, 0024 HOURS, 17XX LANSFORD LN MENTAL HEALTH Officers responded to the 1700 block of Lansford in response to a mental health/crisis related call. Officers spoke with family members and attempted to locate the subject but were unsuccessful. Family referred to crisis. 09/10/24, 1823 HOURS, 7XX PONTIAC PL DISTURBING THE PEACE Officers responded to a report of a disturbance near the 700 block of Pontiac Place. Officers spoke to all parties involved and advised them of their options. 09/12/24, 1038 HOURS, 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY DAMAGE TO PROPERTY Officers were dispatched to location on a damage to property call. Officer observed the historical building was vandalized with spray paint. No suspects. 09/12/24, 1231 HOURS, 19XX SOUTH LN MENTAL HEALTH Officer was dispatched to a crisis call at the 1900 block of South Ln. The reporting party advised that their daughter was in crisis. Officer arrived and gathered information. Crisis staff arrived on scene and assessed the patient. Patient was transported the hospital. September 6th—September 12th, 2024
