Weekly Crime Report
08/16/24, 1103 HOURS, 21XX LEXINGTON AVE WELFARE CHECK
Officers were dispatched to check the welfare of a suicidal party near the 2100 block of Lexington Ave. Officers
located female and family members who were trying to restrain her. Officers learned that they had consumed a
large amount of medication in attempts to commit suicide. Officers placed them on a transport hold to the hospital
for an evaluation.
08/16/24, 1209 HOURS, 12XX DODD RD PI ACCIDENT
Officer responded to a single vehicle accident in the area of Dodd Road and Sunset Ln. Driver stated she veered off
the road and hit an electrical pole causing an abrasion to her arm. The vehicle was towed.
08/16/24, 1823 HOURS, 5XX MENDOTA RD THEFT
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Mendota Road for a past action report of theft and unauthorized credit
card usage. A wallet was taken from inside a vehicle and the cards within were later used. Under investigation.
08/16/24, 2326 HOURS, 13XX DODD RD DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Officers were dispatched to 1300 block of Dodd Rd for a report of a domestic assault in progress. Officers arrived
on scene. Upon arrival officers gathered information and spoke to parties involved. Officers determined crime was
committed and arrested an adult female regarding the incident. Individual was transported to Dakota County Jail.
08/17/24, 0135 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Northland Dr for a report of a group of individuals vandalizing the
reporting person's vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and gathered information. Officer's determined reporting
person's vehicle was damaged. Officer's requested video footage to confirm the suspect's identity. Under
investigation.
08/18/24, 1926 HOURS, 21XX HWY 13 WELFARE CHECK
Officers responded to the 2000 block of Hwy 13 in response to a welfare check. One individual was transported to
the hospital.
08/18/24, 2314 HOURS, 24XX CANTON CT DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Officers responded to a domestic dispute near the 2000 block of Canton Court. After talking to both parties to de-
termine who was the primary aggressor, one individual was arrested and transported to jail.

08/18/24, 2337 HOURS, MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD/HWY 55 WARRANT
Officers were flagged down by an adult female in the area of Highway 55 and Mendota Heights Rd. The adult
female had an active warrant. Adult female was arrested and transported to Dakota County Jail.
08/19/24, 0654 HOURS, 12XX KNOLLWOOD LN ANIMAL BITE
Officer took a report of a dog bite attack in the 1200 block of Knollwood Lane. Reporting party was bit in the street
by a known dog. They were treated at the hospital for their injuries. Dog was declared as dangerous due to the
past incidents and injury.
08/19/24, 1350 HOURS, 6XX OCALA LN THREATS
Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Ocala Lane for a report of terroristic threats. Officers spoke to the
reporting party who stated she did not want to press criminal charges. Officers went to the 2300 block of Pueblo
Drive to talk to a potential suspect and determined they were not involved.
08/19/24, 1520 HOURS, 7XX DECORAH LN DRUGS
Officers conducted a warrant check on the 700 block of Decorah, male subject was arrested with controlled
substance found on his person. Male was taken into custody for the warrant and booked and released on drug
charges.
08/20/24, 0930 HOURS, 17XX LEXINGTON AVE S CHECK WELFARE
Officers were called to the 1700 block of Lexington Avenue to check the welfare on a resident living in a potential
hoarder house. Officers were unable to make contact with the homeowner. Case Status: Forward to the city Fire
Marshall.
08/20/24, 1829 HOURS, 7XX SOUTH PLAZA WAY THEFT/FLEEING
Officers responded to a report of an active theft near the 700 block of South Plaza Way. Suspects fled by vehicle
and Officers initiated a short pursuit. Incident is being investigated.
08/22/24, 1443 HOURS, 14XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL DUMPING
Responded to the 1400 block of Sibley Memorial Highway on a report of tires being dumped on the MN DOT right -
of-way. MN DOT responded to remove the items. Subsequent investigation provided no leads in identifying any
suspects. Report filed.
