7 26 24 WEEKLY CRIME REPORT 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report 07/19/24, 1625 HOURS, 1X BUTLER AVE, WSP AOA Officer responded to another agency after a request for mutual aid. Officers arrived and assisted other agency with taking suspects into custody. Officers were cleared by other agency. 07/20/24, 1515 HOURS, 8XX MARIE AVE CSC Officers were dispatched to a report of a male exposing his genitals in the 800 block of Marie Ave. Officers arrived on scene and gathered information. Officers located the male involved in the incident. Adult male was arrested and booked into Dakota County Jail. 07/21/24, 0035 HOURS, 3XX MARIE AVE AOA Officers assisted West St. Paul Police with a report of a male who fired a gun during an argument. Officers assisted with making contact with the male and arresting him. 07/21/24, 1528 HOURS, 35E/203TH ST CT, FARIBAULT AOA Officer was dispatched as a negotiator for South Metro SWAT to assist with an incident in Steele County. Report for informational purposes. 07/22/24, 1852 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY THEFT Officers received a report of a theft from a store on the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Officers learned the female suspect left in a vehicle prior to officers arrival. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate her. 07/23/24, 0959 HOURS, 8XX MARIE AVE MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT Officer responded to the 800 block of Marie Ave for a report of a vehicle theft. Officer arrived on scene and determined the vehicle was stolen because the keys were accidentally left in the vehicle. Officer took the registered owner information and entered the vehicle as stolen. The registered owner contacted the officer again to provide an update on their credit card being used at a Fridley Target. The registered owner contacted the officer again to provide a possible location for the vehicle based on a ping of the Apple Air Pod that was in the vehicle at the time it was stolen. Officer issued a KOPS alert for the vehicle based on all the information the registered owner provided. Minneapolis Police Department located the vehicle and impounded it for processing. July 19th—July 25th, 2024 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report 07/24/24, 0349 HOURS, 2030 DODD RD HARASSMENT Officers responded to a driving complaint at the 2000 block of Dodd Road. The reporting party advised their previ- ous partner had been following them in their vehicle. The Reporting party was provided information for a harassment restraining order. The ex partner was contacted and directed to cease all communication with the re- porting party. This report was written for documentation and is considered informational.
