Weekly Crime Report
06/28/24, 1957 HOURS, DODD RD/MARIE AVE WEAPONS
Officers were dispatched to a weapons calls near the intersection of Dodd and Marie. The reporting party stated
that they were driving on Dodd Rd. when a driver in another vehicle pulled out a firearm and pointed it at them.
Officers located the vehicle and spoke with suspect. Suspect was arrested and transported to Dakota County Jail.
Search warrant was completed and search was conducted on residence for evidence.
06/29/24, 1055 HOURS, 2XXX VICTORIA RD S ASSAULT
Officers responded to the 2000 block of Victoria Road S on a report of an assault in progress. Three juveniles were
charged with assault and placed in their guardian's control.
06/29/24, 1528 HOURS, 7XX LINDEN ST THEFT
Officer was dispatched a past action report of theft on the 700 block of Linden St. A set of golf clubs had been
stolen from the garage. There were no cameras and no suspects.
07/04/24, 1303 HOURS, 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY BURGLARY
Officer responded to the 1000 block of Sibley Memorial Highway on a report of a burglary. No suspects or
evidence.
07/05/24, 0639 HOURS, 1XXX CROWN POINT DR MISSING PERSON
Officer responded to the 1600 block of Crown Point Drive on a report of a missing vulnerable adult. Person was
located and reunited with their caretaker.
07/06/24, 0625 HOURS, 17XX DELAWARE AVE ASSAULT
Officers responded to a crash which was the result of an assault in progress actively occurring in a vehicle in
motion. Occupants were transported to a hospital. Case was forwarded to the Dakota County Attorney ’s Office for
charging.
07/07/24, 1033 HOURS, 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY HARASSMENT
Officers were dispatched a phone call report for harassing communication at the 1000 block of Sibley Memorial
Highway. Officers called the reporting party and advised on possible solutions to the issue. The reporting party
sent screenshots of texts, messages, and voicemail transcripts.

07/08/24, 1505 HOURS, 8XX MENDAKOTA CT THEFT BY SWINDLE
Officer received a report of a theft by swindle where the adult male victim had monetary loss. The victim hired a
contractor who required 50% down payment for the work but then never completed the work. Under
investigation.
07/08/24, 2250 HOURS, 2XXX LEXINGTON AVE S MENTAL HEALTH
Officers received a report of a female in crisis on the 2100 block of Lexington Avenue S. Officers located the female
and believed she was a danger to herself. She was placed on a transport hold to the hospital.
07/08/24, 0730 HOURS, 1XXX VICTORIA CURVE FOUND PROPERTY
City employees found a wallet outside city hall. City employees turned the wallet over to officers. Officers
attempted to contact the owner of the wallet but were unable to. Officers entered the wallet as found property.
07/09/24, 1240 HOURS, 6XX HIDDEN CREEK TR FRAUD
Officers were dispatched to the Police Department lobby for a walk-in report regarding potential fraud from a
Global Entry renewal website. The victim told officers a fraudulent charge occurred and they were worried about
all the personal information they gave the fraudulent website. Under investigation.
07/09/24, 2132 HOURS, DELAWARE AVE/BETTY LN DWI
Officer was monitoring the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Wentworth Avenue when they observed a stop
sign violation at that intersection. Officer stopped the vehicle near Delaware and Betty Lane and the driver showed
signs of impairment. Driver was put though roadside field sobriety tests and was arrested for fourth degree DWI.
Driver was cited, then booked and released at the Dakota County Jail.
07/10/24, 0023 HOURS, DELAWARE AVE/HUBER DR DEER VS VEHICLE
Officers were dispatched to a no injury accident involving a car versus deer near the intersection of Delaware Ave
and Huber Dr. Vehicle was driving south when the deer jumped out of the west side of the road and was struck.
The deer took off and there was minor damage to the vehicle.

07/10/24, 1443 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Officers responded to the 1300 block of Northland Drive for a vandalism report. Officers arrived on scene and
spoke to the owner of a vehicle who claimed the vehicle had been damaged while parked in the parking lot of a
local business. Officers took a statement from the registered owner and took photos of the damage.
07/10/24, 2002 HOURS, 2XXX PATRICIA ST WARRANT
Officer made contact with a male with a felony warrant on the 2000 block of Patricia Street. Male was taken into
custody and transported to the Dakota County Jail.
