Weekly Crime Report
06/22/24, 0032 HOURS, WENTWORTH AVE/DODD RD OBSTRUCTION
Officers were dispatched to the intersecƟon of Wentworth Avenue and Dodd Road to check on the welfare of an
adult male walking in the middle of the road, at night, while it was raining. Officers located the male at Wachtler
Avenue and Upper Colonial Drive. Officers made contact with the male who refused to clarify what he was doing
or where he was going. The male also refused to give complete idenƟfying informaƟon. Officers informed the male
of a reasonable suspicion reason for him to provide complete idenƟfying informaƟon. The male refused to provide
it. Officers warned the male several Ɵmes he would be arrested if he failed to comply with officer's commands. The
male conƟnued to refuse and was placed under arrest. The male was cited for ObstrucƟng the Legal Process and
booked into the Dakota County Jail. Case Status: Adult Arrest.
06/22/24, 0048 HOURS, 18XX DELAWARE AVE ILLEGAL DUMPING
Officer was dispatched to Two Rivers High School for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, officer saw
garbage had been dumped on school grounds.
06/22/24, 1500 HOURS, 494/35E NEGLIGENT DISCHARGE
InvesƟgators responded to reports of a shooƟng that happened on Hwy 494 and 35E. InvesƟgators talked with
involved parƟes and the invesƟgaƟon is ongoing.
06/23/24, 1531 HOURS, 494/35E ROBBERY/CIVIL
Officers received a report of a possible robbery in progress where a tablet was taken. Officers located the adult
male suspect and detained him. AŌer speaking with the reporƟng party, she stated she only wanted the tablet
back and learned it was a civil/family maƩer. The male was released and the tablet was returned to the reporƟng
party.
06/23/24, 1823 HOURS, 16XX WACHTLER AVE PROPERTY DAMAGE
Officers dispatched to a damage to property call on the 1600 block of Wachtler Ave. A vehicle damaged a fence
and leŌ the scene. Officer aƩempted to make contact with the adult female registered owner who matched the
descripƟon of the driver but was unable to. Adult female suspect was cited for failure to provide proof of
insurance and failure to noƟfy the property owner that their property was damaged. Report made.
06/24/24, 1234 HOURS, 6XX POND VIEW DR THEFT
Officer took a theŌ report from the 600 block of Pond View Drive. ReporƟng party explained a suspected theŌ by a
known person. InvesƟgaƟon acƟve.

06/24/24, 1831 HOURS, SIBLEY MEMORIAL/D ST DRIVING COMPLAINT
Officer was dispatched to a driving complaint. Officer caught up to the driver and determined the elderly driver
was lost. Officer gave the driver a ride home and completed a driver evaluaƟon. Report is informaƟon only.
06/24/24, 2138 HOURS, 7XX NORTH PLAZA DR THEFT
Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of North Plaza Drive for a report of a theŌ in progress from a local
business. Officers arrived on scene but the suspects were gone on arrival. Officers searched the area and did not
find the suspects. Officers talked to the store employees to gather suspect descripƟons and items stolen. Case
Status: Pending invesƟgaƟon
06/26/24, 0337 HOURS, WACHTLER/WENTWORTH SPEED/WARRANT
Officer was doing targeted patrol of an intersecƟon looking for moving violaƟons. Officer clocked a vehicle
traveling south on Wachtler Ave at 68 miles per hour. Officer stopped the vehicle on Wentworth Ave near Dodd
Road. Officer used language line to communicate with the driver and upon running the driver, discovered a gross
misdemeanor warrant out of Ramsey County for Third Degree DWI. Officers arrested the driver and confirmed the
warrant with Ramsey County. Driver's vehicle was towed and the driver was cited for speed and taken to Ramsey
County Jail for the warrant.
06/26/24, 1214 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR THEFT/DAMAGE
Responded to the 1300 block of Northland Drive on a aŌer‐the‐fact report of a theŌ and damage to property. Sub‐
sequent invesƟgaƟon revealed the suspects used stolen idenƟƟes to rent their room. Pending invesƟgaƟon.
06/26/24, 1625 HOURS, 7XX NORTH PLAZA DR ATTEMPTED FRAUD
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of North Plaza Drive for a report of an individual placing an order for a
fraudulent prescripƟon over the phone. Officer gathered informaƟon and wrote a report. Case is inacƟve.
06/27/24, 0919 HOURS, 18XX DODD RD THEFT
Officer received a report of a flag being stolen from the front porch area of a residence. It is suspected to be a
crime moƟvated by bias. Report wriƩen.
06/27/24, 1400 HOURS, 1101 VICTORIA CURVE RETIREMENT
