04/12/24, 0354 HOURS, 35E/HWY 62 DWI
Officers observed vehicle stopped on shoulder of 35E/ HWY 62. Officers observed male slumped over inside of
vehicle. Officers made contact with male and determined the male was under the influence of alcohol. Male was
arrested for DWI and transported to jail. Status: Adult Arrest.
04/12/24, 0913 HOURS, 14XX COMMERCE DR AUTO PART THEFT
Officer requested to call a man who works on the 1400 block of Commerce Drive reference the theft of his catalytic
converter. The victim stated that it had been cut off of his vehicle and stolen while he was working. There are no
cameras covering the parking lot and there is no suspect information. The case is inactive. Information only.
04/15/24, 0108 HOURS, 24XX PILOT KNOB CRASH/DWI
Officers responded to the 2400 block of Pilot Knob Road for a report of an accident with no injuries involving a car
hitting a light pole. While officers were driving to the scene they were told by dispatch the vehicle was trying to
leave the scene. Officers arrived on scene and found a vehicle on the sidewalk next to a local business. Officers
determined the driver was impaired and arrest him. The driver was booked into the Dakota County Jail. Case Sta-
tus: Adult Arrest
04/15/24, 0354 HOURS, 24XX PILOT KNOB AUTO THEFT
Officer received a report of a motor vehicle theft from the 1700 block of Victoria Rd in Mendota Heights, MN.
Officer confirmed vehicle was stolen and took report information.
04/15/24, 0902 HOURS, 17XX VICTORIA RD S FOUND PROPERTY
Officers took custody of found property at Mendota Heights City Hall. Staff had found a bag and wallet near the
front doors. The bag contained an ID and credit card. Officer unable to contact owner. Property entered into
safekeeping. Report only.
04/15/24, 1720 HOURS, MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD/PILOT KNOB CRASH
Officers were dispatched to an accident with injuries at the intersection of Mendota Heights Road and Pilot Knob
Road. One person was transported to an area hospital for further care. Vehicles were towed to Mark's. No
citations. State Crash report completed.

04/15/24, 1030 HOURS, 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY CRASH
Officer took a report of an after the fact burglary from the 700 block of Mohican Lane. Reporting party stated that
their back door to their home was open, and there was evidence of an unknown person left inside. Case inactive
04/17/24, 0000 HOURS, 35E/HWY 13 CIVIL PAPER SERVICE
Officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. Officer learned the adult male driver had an unserved
temporary protection order against him. Officer served the male a short form. Case Status—civil, report made.
04/18/24, 0911 HOURS, MARIE AVE/SUTTON LN PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT
Officer responded to an accident. Unit #2 was stopped facing eastbound and awaiting a bicyclist to pass in order to
make a northbound turn onto Sutton Lane. Unit #1 struck the rear of Unit #2. Driver of Unit #1 indicated he was
looking for his school assignment and was not paying attention. Driver of Unit #2 indicated she noticed Unit #1 was
quickly approaching, so she began to move forward to lessen the impact.
