The Just Deeds Project
At theVApnl2 meeting, Me Mendota Heights Ch Council
heard a presentation from Two Rivers High School students
on the Just Deeds Project a coalition In the Twin Cities U$ y
wodnng to case awareness of trial covenants in Ante ry
deeds, and encourage property owners to discharge them.
Following the presentation, Council Members joined the
coalition in condemning the use otdisviminaWry covenants,
and discharged ca l covenants on all clrymmed property
Property owners are encouraged to loin in this effort and use the University of
Minnesota Mapping Prejudice portal to locate existing covenants in their property
deeds.
The Dakota Counts Boom of Commissioners has exempted propery owners
form paying a morning tee to hie a discharge document, lead mare about howto
discharge a decagonal covenant In Dakota County.
