01/12/24, 0922 HOURS, 13XX 3RD FRAUD
Investigator responded to a credit card fraud. The investigation is ongoing.
01/12/24, 1007 HOURS, 6XX CALLAHAN PL FRAUD
Resident who lives on Callahan Pl, and operates a business from his house, discovered two unauthorized checks
passed through his account. The bank was notified, they requested a police report be filed. There are no known
suspects. Case inactive.
01/12/24, 1040 HOURS, 1XXX CHIPPEWA AVE THEFT
The mail boxes on Chippewa Ave had been gone through over night. One box in the 1000 block had the red flag up,
and the box was empty. No contact was made with the homeowner. Case inactive.
01/12/24, 1133 HOURS, 24XX ENTERPRISE DR FORGERY
Officer responded to the 2400 block of Enterprise Drive on a reported check forgery. Case under investigation.
01/12/24, 1147 HOURS, 1XXX CHIPPEWA AVE THEFT
Officer was dispatched to a residential burglary in the 1000 block of Chippewa Ave. The home owner went out to
the detached garage and discovered that the door was up. The air compressor that had been inside the garage and
was now outside. There is no real known time frame. Mail was also missing from the mailbox. No suspects at this
time.
01/13/24, 0107 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY ASSAULT
Officers responded to a business in the 900 block of Sibley Memorial for a report of an assault that had just
occurred. An investigation was conducted, and it was determined no criminal charges are warranted.
01/13/24, 0306 HOURS, 17XX TRAIL RD PROPERTY DAMAGE
While officers were patrolling the 1700 block of Trail Rd, they observed a down mailbox with tire tracks in the
snow leading up to it. Officers documented the damage and forwarded the information to day shift officers so they
can contact the homeowner.

01/13/24, 0642 HOURS, 6XX WENTWORTH AVE HIT & RUN
Dakota County plow driver discovered a damaged fire hydrant in the 600 block of Wentworth Ave. A license plate
was left behind. The mailbox in the area was destroyed as well. St Paul Water and the home owner were notified
of the damage. KOPS Alert was sent out.
01/13/24, 2303 HOURS, MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD/LEXINGTON AVE ROBBERY
Officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. Officer attempted to stop the vehicle and the vehicle fled
from officer. Officer pursued vehicle and ultimately terminated the pursuit. Officer learned at a later time that the
vehicle was involved in a armed robbery. Officers spoke with the victim and gathered information. Case under
investigation.
01/14/24, 2202 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR WARRANT
Officer conducted a routine license plate check on the 1300 block of Northland Drive and learned the RO of a
vehicle had a warrant. Officer arrested the driver after they parked in a parking lot.
01/16/24, 1606 HOURS, 23XX PILOT KNOB RD THEFT
Officer received a report of a theft of a catalytic converter on the 2300 block of Pilot Knob Road. No suspects or
surveillance video of the incident. Case inactive.
01/17/24, 0831 HOURS, 17XX VICKI LN MAIL THEFT
Officer received a report of a mail theft. The victim provided doorbell footage of the incident. Surveillance footage
unclear on a suspect description. Case inactive.
01/18/24, 0356 HOURS, SUMMIT LN/MARIE AVE TRAFFIC STOP
Officer stopped vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with driver of vehicle, driver refused to verbally identify
himself. Officers located an upholstered firearm inside the vehicle. Driver was removed from the vehicle. A valid
drivers license and valid permit to carry was located on the driver's person. Driver was released on scene. A
citation was issued for Obstruct Legal Process.

01/18/24, 1453 HOURS, 14XX NORTHLAND DR ASSAULT
Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Northland Drive for an assault in progress. Officers responded to the
scene and met with the victim. Officers searched the area and ultimately found the suspect. Officers arrested
suspect.
01/18/24, 1515 HOURS, 13XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD MENTAL HEALTH
Officer responded to the 1300 block of Mendota Heights Road regarding a person in crisis. Person had left the area
upon officers arrival. Alert sent to the surrounding agencies to attempt to locate the person. Crisis notified.
