Council Approves Utility Franchise Fees
At their Jan. 9 meeting, the Mendota Heights City Council
voted unanimously m approve an ommance Implementing
tmnchse tees on gas and eleemm services.
Franchise tees are a method of collecting funds from unity
companes who use public proceny to deliver Becomes Fees are typically passed dlrecly
though to all commercial and Industrial businesses tax exempt pmpemes and resident_
Over the next three months, resklents will see a $2 fmncnse fee on both then monthly gas
