Weekly Crime Report
9/29/23, 0823 HOURS, MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD/DODD RD HIT & RUN
Officer was called to the area of Dodd Road and Mendota Heights Road for a reported traffic accident. On scene it
was found that one of the vehicles had left the scene after the accident. All available information was collected
and a report was completed.
9/30/23, 1349 HOURS, 35E/HWY 62 AOA
Officer assisted Eagan Police with conducting a high risk stop on vehicle on Northbound 35E just south of Randolph
Ave. Officer attempted to deploy stop sticks but was unsuccessful.
10/1/23, 0126 HOURS, EMERSON AVE/HINGHAM CI HIT & RUN
Officers received a report of a motor vehicle accident on the 500 block of Emerson Ave. Upon officer's arrival they
observed a vehicle that was crashed into a vehicle that was then pushed into a third vehicle. The occupants of the
suspect vehicle were gone upon arrival. This incident is currently under investigation.
10/1/23, 1826 HOURS, 16XX LILYDALE RD PI ACCIDENT/DWI
Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover crash on the 1600 block of Lilydale Road. The driver and a
passenger fled the vehicle before officers arrived on scene. The driver was later located and transported to the
hospital. The male was ultimately booked into Dakota County Jail.
10/3/23, 1441 HOURS, 5XX ANNAPOLIS ST THEFT
Officer responded to the 500 block of Annapolis St on a report of a theft. Victim stated that unknown persons took
two oxygen tanks, an acetylene tank and a BMX bike off of his property. There are no suspects.
10/4/23, 0046 HOURS, 11XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY DRUGS
Officers received a call of suspicious people in the 1100 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Officer located a vehicle
and spoke with the adult male and female inside it. While speaking with them an open container of marijuana was
located. A search of the vehicle was then conducted, and a small bag suspected methamphetamine was found.
Case sent to DTF on drug possession charges.

10/4/23, 1006 HOURS, 25XX BROOKFIELD LN IDENTITY THEFT
Officer received a phone call regarding identity theft. Victim reported someone had gained access to one of his
bank accounts, changed his name and address on the account and ordered a new credit card to be sent to an
address in NJ. His bank was notified and there was no monetary loss. No suspects.
10/4/23, 2342 HOURS, 1XXX WAGON WHEEL TR WARRANT
Officers were investigating an ordinance violation at Rogers Lake Park. An adult male was found to have a Dakota
County Warrant and was placed under arrest.
10/5/23, 1349 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY TRESPASS
Officer responded to the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Highway to assist with trespassing an employee. Employee
left prior to my arrival.
