Weekly Crime Report
7/14/23, 2231 HOURS, 6XX WENTWORTH AVE MEDICAL
Officer was dispatched a fire alarm on the 600 block of Wentworth Ave. Officer was able to gain entry to unit with
alarm and found resident asleep with food burning. Resident was ultimately transported to the hospital. Officer
wrote report.
7/14/23, 2322 HOURS, SYLVANDALE ROAD WARRANT ARREST
Officer was on routine patrol of the intersection of Wachtler Avenue and Highway 13. Officer observed a vehicle
displaying a temporary registration that was expired over a year. Officer stopped the vehicle and identified the
driver, an adult male, who had a warrant. The driver was arrested on the warrant and transported to jail.
7/15/23, 1204 HOURS, 10XX DAKOTA DRIVE TRESPASSING
Responded to the 1000 block of Dakota Drive on a report of an unruly customer. The owner of the establishment
informed the customer that they were trespassed from the location. Report filed for information
7/15/23, 2325 HOURS, 6XX MENDOTA HTS ROAD FOUND PROPERTY
Officer was on routine patrol of Kensington Park. Officer observed a group of suspected juveniles lighting off aerial
fireworks. The people fled the area. Officer took possession of aerial fireworks and logged into Mendota Heights
property room.
7/16/23, 0500 HOURS, 24XX LOCKWOOD DRIVE DOMESTIC
Officers called to the 2400 block of Lockwood Drive for a reported physical disturbance. On scene, a domestic was
reported between two brothers. Evidence of a domestic assault was uncovered, and an arrest was made. The
suspect was transported to Dakota County Jail. Cleared by arrest.
7/16/23, 2350 HOURS, DODD ROAD DWI
Officer was on routine patrol near the intersection of Dodd Road and Cheri Lane. Officer observed a vehicle driving
above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was stopped and the driver admitted to alcohol consumption and
showed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested for DWI and cited. The driver was later released from
custody and placed on a transport hold for self-harm. Case status: DWI arrest.
7/17/23, 0300 HOURS, HWY 55 AOA
Officer assisted a neighboring agency with stop sticks for a vehicle that was fleeing. The stop sticks were successful.
This ended the Officer's involvement with this incident.
7/17/23, 0629 HOURS, 8XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY ACCIDENT
Officer responded to a construction site accident. Fork lift hit power lines and was unable to move. Xcel Energy had
to cut power lines to free driver and fork lift. Xcel request a report number for their reference.

7/17/23, 0800 HOURS, 21XX HWY 13 THEFT
Responded to the 2100 block of Highway 13 on a report of Theft by swindle via a BITCOIN Scam. Victim is out
$37,000. Report filed.
7/17/23, 1310 HOURS, 6XX QUAIL RIDGE DR FRAUD
Officer took a financial transaction card fraud that occurred on 06/30/2203. Victim's credit card was used in
another state. Report written.
7/17/23, 2007 HOURS, 20XX VICTORIA ROAD RUNAWAY
Officers were called to the 2000 block of Victoria Road for a report of two juveniles who ran away. Officers
checked the area and were unable to located them. It is unknown where they could have gone. They were said to
not be in danger. Guardians notified. Juveniles reported as runaways.
7/18/23, 0600 HOURS, DELAWARE AVE AOA
Officer called to the intersection of Betty Lane and Delaware Avenue for a vehicle off the road. It was later found
that the vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard and confirmed stolen with the originating agency.
Cleared with a report.
7/19/23, 0241 HOURS, 35E NB WARRANT ARREST
Officer was parked monitoring traffic on I-35E and Mendota Heights Road. Officer Observed a vehicle with
equipment violations and conducted a traffic stop. Officer identified the adult male driver and learned they had
out of state felony warrants. Officer arrested the male and transported him to jail.
7/19/23, 1958 HOURS, 21XX AZTEC LN DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Officers responded to a call of a suspicious person that walked into a house uninvited. Officers arrived and
determined the unwelcomed guest entered through the garage and started arguing with the residents. She was
cited for disorderly conduct. Case status clear with citation.
7/20/23, 1059 HOURS, 14XX SOMERSET COURT FRAUD
Officer took a report of financial card fraud in the 1000 block of Somerset Ct . Gathered information and found
Credit Card information was used to purchase items from restaurants in Edina. Case status: Pending camera
footage from stores in Edina.
7/20/23, 1306 HOURS, 12XX LILYDALE ROAD THEFT
Officer took a report of a theft from motor vehicle at the Lilydale Trailhead. A vehicle window was smashed and a
backpack including a county laptop was stolen. There are no suspects at this time. Case status clear with adult
report.

Officer responded to the 500 block of Hiawatha Avenue to take a dog bite report.
7/20/23, 1716 HOURS, 10XX OVERLOOK ROAD THEFT
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Highway 62 to take a past action theft report. Investigation is ongoing.
