Weekly Crime Report
7/07/23, 0446 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR TS—REGISTRATION
Officers stopped a parked vehicle at the 1300 block of Northland Drive. A driver was cited for expired registration,
no insurance and transferring tabs on to their vehicle. Officer will follow up with other vehicle owners to whom the
tabs belonged to determine if formal charging is needed. Vehicle tabs placed into evidence. Case status pending
officer follow-up.
7/07/23, 1639 HOURS, I-494/DODD RD AOA
Officers assisted State Troopers on a child custody issue on Interstate 494, that originated in St. Paul. Case will be
forwarded to the St. Paul Police Department. Clear with report.
7/08/23, 0230 HOURS, 7XX MOHICAN LN SUSPICIOUS
Officer was dispatched to a report of past action motor vehicle tampering on the 700 block of Mohican Lane.
Officer gathered information and wrote report.
7/09/23, 0130 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Officers spoke with both
parties involved. Officers gathered information about a possible assault. Both parties separated for the night; case
to be send to city attorney for charging.
7/10/23, 0247 HOURS, 18XX HUNTER LN THEFT
Officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle driving slowly through the area of the 1800 block of Hunter Lane.
Officers located the vehicle and identified the adult male driver. After the male was no longer detained, officers
received a report of mail theft. This incident is under investigation.
7/10/23, 0831 HOURS, 5XX FREMONT ST DOG BITE
Officer responded to the 500 block of Fremont St for a report of a past action dog bite. Officers gathered
information, Case Status: Pending response from parties involved.
7/10/23, 1009 HOURS, 10XX DOUGLAS RD AUTO THEFT
Officer called by a resident living in the 1000 block of Douglas Road who found that his vehicle had been stolen
overnight. He had no video of the theft or suspect information. The vehicle was listed as stolen.
7/10/23, 1007 HOURS, 7XX MOHICAN LN AUTO TAMPER
Officer responded to 700 Block of Mohican Lane, for a report of a past action motor vehicle tampering, Officer
gathered information, nothing reported missing, Case Status: Inactive

7/10/23, 1302 HOURS, 10XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL FRAUD
Officer requested to call a woman living in the 1000 block of Sibley Memorial Highway reference her being
scammed out of $24,000. Information was collected and a report was completed. Closed with a report.
7/10/23, 2109 HOURS, 20XX VICTORIA RD S ASSAULT
Officers received a report of a physical altercation between two juvenile females on the 2000 block of Victoria
Road South. Upon Officers arrival, the two were separated and one of the two females had significant injuries to
her face and later transported to the hospital. The primary aggressor was issued a citation and advised of future
paperwork in the mail.
7/11/23, 1108 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY DISTURBANCE
Officer responded to the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Highway for a hold up alarm. Officer found that a
disturbance had just occurred and investigated the same. One party was trespassed, and a report was completed.
Cleared with a report.
7/11/23, 1452 HOURS, 11XX CENTRE POINTE DR AOA/RECOVERY
Responded to the 1100 block of Centre Pointe Drive to recover a stolen trailer for Big Lake Police Department.
Case forwarded to Big Lake PD for further investigation/charging consideration.
7/11/23, 1832 HOURS, 23XX LEXINGTON AVE ASSIST PUBLIC
Officer was made aware of an ongoing issue with a former employee on the 2300 block of Lexington Ave. Officer
gathered information. Report as information only.
7/12/23, 1739 HOURS, 23XX LEXINGTON AVE ACCIDENT
Officer responded to a traffic crash on Interstate 494 at Dodd Road. A witness was able to provide a video of the
crash. The at-fault driver was cited. Case status clear with report.
7/12/23, 2122 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR WARRANT ARREST
Officers were dispatched to a disturbance on the 1300 block of Northland Dr. Officers arrived on scene and
determined that no crime had occurred but the business was requesting one party be trespassed. The party was
trespassed. While identifying the parties involved, it was determined that the reporting party had a felony warrant.
The reporting party was arrested and transported to Dakota County Jail.
7/12/23, 2241 HOURS, 13XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD IMPOUND/PROPERTY
Officers located a Pontoon Trailer on the 1300 block of Mendota Heights Road. The trailer had no registration and
the serial number had obviously been tampered with. The vehicle was impounded pending further investigation.
