September 23rd—September 29th,
9/23/2022, 0840 HOURS, 7XX N PLAZA DR THEFT
Officer responded to a business on N Plaza Dr that had items stolen. The suspect arrived, and left in a stolen
vehicle. The suspect entered the store, filled a basket with items, set the basket down, left, returned, and then ran
out with the basket. The suspect left in a stolen vehicle. Under investigation.
9/23/2022, 0915 HOURS, 16XX LILYDALE RD DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Victim of vehicle damage was parked near 1600 Lilydale Rd. When the victim returned to their car, it was
discovered that the window frame, and drivers door window had been damaged. There is no suspect information.
9/23/2022, 1452 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY
Received a call in reference to a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot of a hotel on Northland Dr. Information was that
two people ran from this vehicle carrying a bag, or purse. Officers responded and while on the way there, officers
were notified the incident happened 45 minute prior to being dispatched. Vehicle was an unreported stolen out of
Bloomington. Owner notified, vehicle was impounded.
9/24/2022, 1932 HOURS, 18XX DELAWARE AVE WEAPONS
Officers working security at a high school dance near the 1800 block of Delaware Avenue noticed a juvenile male
with what looked like a firearm in the waistband of his pants. He was contacted by police and a replica gun was
recovered from his person. He was released to the custody of his father. Charges pending.
9/26/2022, 0730 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR THEFT
Officer took a theft report from the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Caller stated that sometime over night the
catalytic converter was taken off their vehicle. No suspects known, case inactive.
9/26/2022, 0806 HOURS, 18XX DELAWARE AVE THEFT
Officer responded to location on a report of a Nintendo 3DS stolen from boy's locker room during gym class.
Surveillance was viewed and there was no one who didn't belong going in or out of the locker room. Inactive.
9/26/2022, 1744 HOURS, 35E/HWY 13 WARRANT
Officer was conducting stationary patrol when a vehicle traveling appeared to be going faster than the posted
speed limit. Officer conducted a traffic stop and learned the driver had a warrant out of Hennepin County. The
driver was arrested and transported to Dakota County Jail.

9/27/2022, 0801 HOURS, 16XX LILYDALE RD THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
Officer was dispatched a theft report on the 1600 block of Lilydale Rd. The reporting party stated that his vehicle
window was smashed and items were taken from inside his vehicle. No suspects.
9/27/2022, 0850 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Officer took a stolen vehicle report from the 1300 block of Northland Drive. A vehicle was stolen from the parking
lot over night. Vehicle does not have a tracking device on it. Entered as stolen, case inactive.
9/27/2022, 1135 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWYTHEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
Officer responded to the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy for a theft. Reporting party stated that a person had
just stolen items and left in a vehicle. Officers checked the area but did not locate the suspect. License plate of the
suspect vehicle is known. Investigation active.
9/27/2022, 1149 HOURS, 14XX HWY 13 DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Officer was dispatched to a damage to property call on the 1400 block of Hwy 13. The reporting party stated that
someone wrote on her mother's headstone with a marker. The reporting party advised that she believed she knew
who the suspect was but did not want me to attempt to get a statement at this time.
9/27/2022, 2026 HOURS, HWY 55 MENTAL HEALTH
Officers received a report of an adult male attempting to jump off the Mendota Bridge. Upon Officers arrival, the
male initially climbed off the railing, but attempted to climb back up the railing again. Officers were able to stop
the male and he was transported to the hospital.
9/28/2022, 0105 HOURS, DODD RD/HOKAH AVE WARRANT
Officer observed a bicyclist riding on the roadway with no lights illuminated during the night -time and initiated a
traffic stop. The rider was asked for their ID and the rider stated they did not have it on them and proceeded to
provide the officer with a name that was not his. Upon investigation officers were able to determine their actual
identity and the person had multiple felony body only warrants. The rider was arrested and booked into the
Dakota County Jail for his warrants. The bicycle was arranged to be picked up by a friend.
9/28/2022, 0659 HOURS, 22XX HIGH POINTE CT MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Officer received a call from a man living near the 2000 block of High Point Court who had his car stolen sometime
over night. It's believed the keys were left inside the car. There is no suspect information. The case is inactive.

9/28/2022, 1649 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Officer was dispatched to a report of damage to property on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Officer arrived
and determined that a women’s vehicle drivers side window of her vehicle was smashed. No suspects.
9/29/2022, 2126 HOURS, 21XX DODD RD THEFT
Officer was dispatched a past action report of theft on the 2100 block of Dodd Road. Officer was advised that a
wallet had been taken and multiple cards were used. Under investigation.
