August 19th - August 25th, 2022
8/19/2022, 2042 HOURS, 1XXX NORTHLAND DR MUTUAL AID ASSIST
Officers were dispatched for mutual aid from another Minnesota law enforcement agency. Officers were advised
of informaƟon about a juvenile runaway in Mendota Heights. Officers responded to the area and located the
juvenile. Officer coordinated with crisis services and transported the juvenile to facility in Minneapolis.
8/19/2022, 2112 HOURS, 1XXX WAGON WHEEL TRL PROPERTY DAMAGE
Officers took the report of a suspicious vehicle launching a boat on Rogers Lake. Upon arrival officers spoke with
the party who had caused minor damage to city property. A report was completed; incident referred to city staff
for next steps.
8/19/2022, 0900 HOURS, 2XXX LEXINGTON AVE S THEFT/FRAUD
Officer took a theŌ report from a resident who advised their wallet and credit cards were stolen and used in
surrounding ciƟes. InvesƟgaƟon ongoing.
8/19/2022, 0201 HOURS, 1XXX LILYDALE RD TRESPASSING
Officer was dispatched to a trespassing call at a business. The reporƟng party stated that several juveniles entered
the locked pool area and defecated in the pool. Officer reviewed security footage of incident. Officer gathered
informaƟon, evidenƟary data and wrote report. InvesƟgaƟon ongoing.
8/21/2022, 0206 HOURS, I-35E/HWY 62 DWI
Officer was driving southbound on Hwy 35E and observed a vehicle swerving over lane lines. Officer determined
the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. Driver was arrested and taken to Dakota County Jail.
8/21/2022, 0524 HOURS, 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY CIVIL MATTER
Officer was dispatched to take a phone call about a possible civil maƩer. Officer spoke with reporƟng party and
determined it to be a civil maƩer but possibly criminal in the future. Officer gathered informaƟon and wrote
report.

8/21/2022, 1250 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY THEFT
Officer was dispatched to take a report about a gas drive off that had just occurred. The reporƟng party stated
that a female pumped gas into vehicle and then drove off, aŌer being confronted by staff for not paying. Officer
reviewed security footage and gathered informaƟon. Officer found that the license plate on the suspect vehicle
did not match and was likely stolen. Officer wrote report.
8/22/2022, 1200 HOURS, 1XXX GRYC CT THEFT BY SWINDLE
Officer was dispatched take a fraud call from a reporƟng party who advised he was phished and scammed out of
money. Officer gathered informaƟon and wrote report.
8/23/2022, 0144 HOURS, HWY 62/HWY 55 MUTUAL AID
Officers were asked by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office to check the area of the Mendota Bridge for a suicidal
party whose cell phone indicated he was nearby. Officers located the person asleep in a vehicle on in St Paul. The
suicidal party was uninjured and volunteered to seek a mental health evaluaƟon.
8/23/2022, 1315 HOURS, 9XX OVERLOOK RD FRAUD
Officer was contacted reference a male who had not received his last three checks in the mail as scheduled. It was
found that someone claiming to be him had requested the checks be sent to a different address. All available
informaƟon was collected. Forward to invesƟgaƟons.
8/23/2022, 1245 HOURS, 1XXX IVY HILL DR IDENTITY THEFT
Responded to a report of idenƟty theŌ. Resources provided. Report filed.
8/24/2022, 1959 HOURS, 7XX SOUTH PLAZA WAY CIVIL MATTER
Officers took a civil assist call from a female who reported she was geƫng kicked out of her residence. Officer
made contact with several involved parƟes and county resources. This case was taken for informaƟon purposes
and will be forwarded to 360 CommuniƟes for any needed follow up.
8/25/2022, 1650 HOURS, 1XXX NORTHLAND DR THEFT
Officer took a theŌ of catalyƟc converter report from an owner of a vehicle parked in the lot. There are no
suspects at this Ɵme. Case status closed with report.
