08/05/2022, 0719 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL THEFT
Officer was dispatched to a report of theŌ that occurred at a business. The reporƟng party stated that a person had driven away without
paying for gas. Video captured the theŌ and revealed a known person who was driving a vehicle stolen from another city. Arrest warrant
issued by Dakota County AƩorney for the suspect.
08/05/2022, 1348 HOURS, 2XXX LOCKWOOD DR PROPERTY DAMAGE
Officer dispatched to a damage to property call at a residence. The reporƟng party advised that his air condiƟoner was vandalized about a
month ago and he has documentaƟon saying it was vandalized. Officer gathered informaƟon and wrote report.
08/05/2022, 1445 HOURS, HWY 62/DODD RD FATAL ACCIDENT
Officers were dispatched to a crash with injuries. Passerby stated that a single vehicle was in the ditch on its roof. One occupant was
trapped inside the vehicle and unconscious, later deemed to be deceased. Driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. State Patrol
took lead on the crash and invesƟgaƟon. Referred to State Patrol.
08/05/2022, 1921 HOURS, 2XX PICNIC ISLAND MEDICAL
Officers responded to a call for help for a man struggling in the river. Officers ulƟmately located an adult male who had been in the river.
The male was transported to the hospital to be evaluated. A report was completed.
08/05/2022, 1930 HOURS, 1XXX HWY 62 ASSAULT
Officers were dispatched to a convenience store on a report of an assault that happened. The suspect leŌ the scene prior to officer
arriving and there was not enough evidence to idenƟfy the suspect. Case is inacƟve.
08/06/2022, 0028 HOURS, 8XX CARMEN LN SUSPICIOUS/FLEEING
Officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon Officers arrival, they found the vehicle occupied by an adult male and female.
Officer saw a gun near the occupants feet and gave commands to show their hands. The driver put the vehicle in drive and fled the scene.
A short pursuit ensued and officers lost visual of the vehicle. A KOPS Alert was sent out for the vehicle and its occupants.
08/06/2022, 0232 HOURS, 1XXX NORTHLAND DR DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Officers received a report of a male being disorderly and threatening hotel staff. Upon arrival, officers aƩempted to speak with the male
and obtain his informaƟon. The male refused to provide his informaƟon and conƟnued to be disorderly. The male was arrested and
transported to jail.
08/06/2022, 1215 HOURS, 1XXX WILLIAM CT THEFT
Officer took a theŌ report from a resident who had noƟced personal items missing from inside the home aŌer being gone for a day.

08/07/2022, 1300 HOURS, 1XXX LILYDALE RD PROPERTY DAMAGE
Officer dispatched to a report of a vehicle with a window broken out, but the owner of the vehicle did not seem to be around. Officer got
in contact with the owner and learned that it was broken out in the last hour while the family was on a walk. A purse with personal items
were taken and credit cards were used in surrounding ciƟes. Case acƟve.
08/08/2022, 0229 HOURS, SIBLEY MEMORIAL/LEXINGTON DWI
Officer did a traffic stop on a vehicle on Sibley Memorial Highway near Lexington Avenue for a speed violaƟon. Officer determined the
driver was under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest. Driver was transported to Dakota County Jail where they were
booked and released.
08/08/2022, 0545 HOURS, 2XXX WATERS DR THEFT AUTO PARTS
Officer took a theŌ of auto parts report from an owner whose catalyƟc converter was removed from a vehicle over the weekend.
No suspect informaƟon. Case inacƟve.
08/08/2022, 0851 HOURS, VALLEY PARK FOUND BIKES
Officer was noƟfied by a resident that two bicycles were leŌ at Valley Park and had been there for at least a week. Officer ran serial
numbers but did not get a match. Officer transported bicycles to water tower to be stored.
08/08/2022, 1530 HOURS, 1XXX LILYDALE RD ASSAULT/AOA
Officers were dispatched to an assault in progress on a boat in the Mississippi River. Officers assisted a nearby agency to resolve this
maƩer.
08/09/2022, 1547 HOURS, 2XXX PILOT KNOB RD FRAUD
Officer was called to take a report of a fraud and learned a crime had occurred. Case is under invesƟgaƟon.
08/10/2022, 1125 HOURS, 1XXX MENDOTA HTS RD THEFT
Customer at a convenience store where the vicƟm her purse was stolen from her vehicle. The vehicle was parked, unoccupied, with all
windows down, directly in front of the business. The suspect walked out of the store, passed the vehicle, walked back, reached in and
took the purse. The incident was captured on video and the vehicle used by the suspect is on video. InvesƟgaƟon acƟve.
08/10/2022, 1554 HOURS, 9XX MENDOTA HTS RD PROPERTY DAMAGE
Motorcycle owner reported damage to his motorcycle. There are no suspects at this Ɵme. Case status closed with report.
