06 10 22 WEEKLY CRIME REPORT 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report June 3rd - June 9th, 2022 6/04/2022, 1809 HOURS, 9XX HWY 13 THEFT Officers responded to a theft of alcohol on the 900 block of Highway 13. The suspect stole a bottle of tequila. The suspect has not been identified at this time. 6/05/2022, 0941 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR THEFT Officer took a theft report from the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Reporting party had their catalytic converter taken off their car overnight. No suspects known. 6/05/2022, 1623 HOURS, 35E/WAGON WHEEL TR WELFARE CHECK Officers responded to a welfare check on Interstate 35E at Wagon Wheel Trail. It was a mental health and possible domestic assault situation. Officers stopped the vehicle in Eagan and briefly detained one party. After further investigation, officers determined it was a mutual fight and related to a mental health issue. Both parties released. 6/05/2022, 1706 HOURS, 11XX CENTRE POINTE CI MENTAL HEALTH Officer was dispatched to take a report of a criminal sexual conduct that occurred on the 1100 block of Centre Pointe Circle. After speaking with the reporting party and investigating, it is believed that the reporting party was experiencing a mental health emergency. 6/06/2022, 0804 HOURS, 13XX CLEMENT ST FRAUD Resident on the 1300 block of Clement St reported they fell for an internet scam. This case is being investigated for felony swindle and is pending results of a search warrant. 6/06/2022, 1141 HOURS, 16XX LILYDALE RD THEFT Officer was dispatched to a theft of catalytic converter on the 1600 block of Lilydale Rd. The reporting party stated that their vehicle was parked in a parking lot and their catalytic converter was stolen. No suspects. 6/06/2022, 2200 HOURS, 35E/SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY WARRANT Officer conducted a traffic stop at 35E and Sibley Memorial Highway. Passenger in the car was the owner and had a warrant out of Ramsey County. Party was arrested and taken to Dakota County Jail. 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report June 3rd - June 9th, 2022 6/07/2022, 1942 HOURS, 13XX HWY 13 MENTAL HEALTH Officer was dispatched to a mental health crisis on the 1300 block of Highway 13. 911 callers reported a male was dancing in the middle of the road and began undressing. Officer located and detained the male who was transported to the hospital for an evaluation. 6/07/2022, 1956 HOURS, 8XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY LITTERING Officer received a report of dumping/littering on the 800 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. The reporting party stated they saw two adult males dumping garbage behind a business and then sped off. The reporting party attempted to follow the vehicle, but lost sight of it. Minimal information was given on the vehicle. No suspects. 6/08/2022, 0832 HOURS, 2XXX DODD RD THEFT Victim had their vehicle parked at a repair shop in the 2000 block of Dodd Rd. At some point, unknown person(s) stole both catalytic converters off of their truck. The truck had been parked there since 05-24-2022. There is no video of the theft. 6/08/2022, 1117 HOURS, 17XX TRAIL RD CIVIL PAPER SERVICE Officer observed an occupied vehicle parked in the 1700 block of Trail Rd. Officer ran a query on the license plate and the male R/O came back as revoked, with an unserved permanent restraining order. Contact was made and a short form was completed and served. 6/08/2022, 1444 HOURS, 23XX LEXINGTON AVE THEFT Officer was dispatched to a report of a license plate theft on the 2300 block of Lexington Avenue. No suspects at this time. 6/09/2022, 0817 HOURS, 18XX ORCHARD HEIGHTS LN IDENTITY THEFT Resident on the 1800 block of Orchard Heights Ln discovered that someone had attempted to obtain unemployment insurance funds using their information. The state was notified and the claim and account were closed. Several days later a bank account was discovered that the victim did not authorize. This account has been closed. There was no monetary loss and no suspects.
