May 27th - June 2nd , 2022
5/27/2022, 0452 HOURS, 35E/MARIE AVE DWI
Officer initiated a traffic stop for a traffic violation on I -35E at Marie Avenue. Officer observed signs of
impairment and conducted a field sobriety test. The driver was determined to be over the legal limit and
was placed under arrest. It was discovered the driver initially gave the officer a fake ID and was
subsequently charged in addition to the DWI. The driver was booked and released from the Dakota
County Jail. The vehicle was legally parked.
5/27/2022, 1139 HOURS, 7XX MOHICAN LN THEFT
Responded to a residence where the complainant reported an individual from a neighboring residence
came on to their porch and was looking in the window. The individual was cited for disorderly conduct
and trespassed from the property.
5/27/2022, 2350 HOURS, HWY 62/HWY 13 AOA
Officers assisted State Patrol in pursuit of a vehicle eastbound 62 from the Mendota Bridge. Trooper
crashed with uninvolved vehicle at Highway 62 and Delaware Ave. Officers assisted with traffic control.
5/28/2022, 1380 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR DISTURBANCE
Officers received a report of a disturbance on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Upon Officers arrival,
they spoke with an adult male and female who stated they had an argument about their relationship.
Nothing physical had occurred. Officers believed no crime had occurred. The male was given a ride to a
different address to have the parties separated for the night.
5/28/2022, 0830 HOURS, 9XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD ASSAULT
Officer responded to a report of an assault that had occurred. The reporting party advised that his son
was assaulted by another student while at practice. Officer gathered information and wrote report.
5/28/2022, 0336 HOURS, 35E/HWY 13 TRAFFIC
While on routine patrol , officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Officer attempted to
stop the vehicle, but the vehicle did not stop. Upon initiating pursuit, the officer learned the vehicle was
stolen but ultimately terminated the pursuit for safety reasons.

5/29/2022, 0000 HOURS, 7XX 1ST AVE THEFT—AUTO PARTS
Officer was dispatched take a report of a theft of a catalytic converter stolen overnight. Information
gathered, report written; case inactive.
5/29/2022, 2232 HOURS, I -35E/HWY 62 STOLEN AUTO/FLEEING
Officer encountered a speeding vehicle and learned it was stolen and attempted to stop the vehicle; it
fled. The vehicle was pursued and a PIT maneuver was conducted to end the pursuit. All parties were
taken into custody. Case Status is juvenile arrest.
5/30/2022, 1730 HOURS, 1XXX MENDOTA HTS RD ACCIDENT
Officer took a report by phone regarding an accident and learned the reporting party had backed into
another vehicle, but that vehicle's owner was not around. He did not leave a note, but wanted to speak
with police to provide the contact information. Report made, information only.
5/30/2022, 2147 HOURS, I -494/DODD RD TRAFFIC STOP/WARRANT
Officer conducted traffic stop at 494 and Dodd Road. Adult male driver had an active warrant. Adult male
driver was arrested and transported to Dakota County Jail.
5/31/2022, 2147 HOURS, I -35E/HWY 13 DISTURBANCE
Officer stopped vehicle for expired tabs and found the registered owner's license was canceled. Adult
male driver then provided a fake name to officer. Adult male driver arrested for giving officer false
information and driving after cancellation.
6/01/2022, 1616 HOURS, 2XXX PATRICIA ST WARRANT ARREST
Officer was made aware of a male with a warrant, responded to the residence and observed the male in
the driveway. Male was placed under arrest and transported to Dakota County Jail.
06/02/2022, 1641 HOURS, DODD RD/I-494 TRAFFIC/DRUGS
Officer stopped vehicle for a license violation and upon arresting the driver, drugs were found in the
vehicle. The driver was transported to Dakota County Jail and released pending drug test results.
