May 6th - May 12th, 2022
5/06/2022, 0213 HOURS, SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY/SYLVANDALE RD DRUGS
Officer observed a suspicious vehicle leaving the area of a closed business on the 1600 block of Lilydale
Road. The vehicle sped off at a high rate of speed in what appeared to be an attempt to evade the officer.
The vehicle and occupants were apprehended a short distance later. Officers located illegal drugs in the
vehicle that were seized. The driver and passenger were released with formal charges pending.
5/06/2022, 0508 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR THEFT
Officer was dispatched to a report of theft on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Officer determined a
catalytic converter had been stolen overnight. No suspects.
5/06/2022, 0850 HOURS, 12XX CENTRE POINTE CURVE THEFT
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Centre Pointe Curve on a report of a theft of a catalytic
converter. No suspects or evidence.
5/06/2022, 0928 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR RECOVERED PROPERTY
Officer was dispatched to a hotel on Northland Dr. Staff found a vehicle in the lot with no license plates
on it. Officer had DCC run the VIN; it was a confirmed stolen out of Apple Valley. A tow was arranged and
officer cleared the scene.
5/07/2022, 1416 HOURS, LAKE DR/SWAN DR TRAFFIC STOP
Officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of Lake Dr and Swan Dr for a vehicle operating without
registration. The driver was noncompliant and was held inside the vehicle with a taser pointed at the
driver until a second officer arrived. Driver provided a false name and date of birth. The driver ’s actual
name was found as well as a confirmed crisis civil hold, GM warrant, and revocation. The driver was
transported to the Police Department where crisis was contacted. A transport was set up to the
hospital.
5/09/2022, 0220 HOURS, 16XX DODD RD FLEEING
Officer was on routine patrol traveling northbound on the 1600 block of Dodd Road when officer
observed a vehicle traveling the same direction that committed a moving violation and had an equipment
violation. Officer stopped the vehicle, and as the officer approached the vehicle, it took off. Officers later
located the vehicle, but were unable to stop it. The identity of the driver is unknown.

5/09/2022, 1125 HOURS, 9XX CHERI LN FRAUD
Officer was dispatched a report from a victim who stated that unknown persons had accessed his
online digital wallet and took LUNA Non-Fungible tokens valued at approximately $7,500. He was then
asked to pay $300 to recover his funds from this so-called company. This resulted in the victim being
scammed out of thousands of dollars more. No suspects at this time.
5/10/2022, 1040 HOURS, HWY 13/ACACIA DR RECOVERED PROPERTY
Officer was called to the intersection of Acacia Dr and Highway 13 by a woman who lived nearby and had
found a loaded handgun in the woods while she was picking up trash. The gun was collected and placed
into evidence. It was confirmed that the gun was stolen. It was removed from the system as a stolen
firearm.
5/11/2022, 0010 HOURS, 7XX S PLAZA WAY DOMESTIC
Officers received a report of an adult male and female arguing on the 700 block of South Plaza Way. The
reporting party stated the male pushed the female to the ground and the female was crying. Officers
spoke with the two and learned the female struck the male, and the male pushed the female to prevent
her from striking him again. The female was cited for assault and the male was advised to separate
from the female for the night.
5/11/2022, 1552 HOURS, 18XX DELAWARE AVE DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Officer was dispatched to a report of an attempted theft. Caller stated that her catalytic converter had
attempted to have been stolen and was now damaged. Officer took photos. No suspects.
5/11/2022, 1637 HOURS, 9XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD PERSONAL INJURY ACCIDENT
Officers responded to a crash with injuries on the 900 block of Mendota Heights Road. A vehicle
traveling eastbound veered off the road and struck two parked cars with enough force to roll the at -
fault vehicle. The driver was transported to the hospital for injuries and cited for a driving violation.
5/12/2022, 0153 HOURS, NORTHLAND DR/PILOT KNOB RD FLEEING
Officer was on routine patrol and observed a vehicle to have equipment violations. Officer initiated a
traffic stop and the vehicle fled from the officer. The officer did not pursue the vehicle, but followed at a
distance. Officer observed the vehicle to spin out and the adult male driver to flee from the vehicle. The
officer initiated a foot pursuit and the driver was arrested.
5/12/2022, 1008 HOURS, 17XX DODD RD THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE
Reporting party parked his truck in front of a residence while still running. Unknown suspect took the
vehicle. The suspect met up with another driver in a business parking lot on the 2200 block of Dodd Rd.
The driver switched vehicles and fled. There was a loaded gun in the stolen vehicle. Under investigation.
