April 22nd - 28th, 2022
4/22/2022, 0730 HOURS, 16XX LILYDALE RD THEFT
Officer was called in reference to a theft that took place near the 1600 block of Lilydale road. Tools had
been taken out of a locked construction trailer. There is no suspect information available at this time.
The case is inactive.
4/22/2022, 1124 HOURS, 7XX MARKET ST THEFT
A local bank called to report an employee had been stealing from the bank. The business that was the
original victim, has been reimbursed by the bank. The employee no longer works with the bank. Officer
called the suspect, a phone message was left. Under investigation.
4/22/2022, 1840 HOURS, 8XX CARMEN LN ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Carmen Lane on a report of a suspicious person. Officers
located the person who was related to a Minnesota State Patrol incident nearby and was ultimately
turned over to them. A backpack was also located. The person involved denied ownership of the
backpack and it was entered as found property.
4/23/2022, 1419 HOURS, 23XX LEXINGTON AVE BURGLARY
Officer was dispatched to take a report of a vehicle broken into in an unground parking lot on the 2300
block of Lexington Avenue. Under investigation.
4/24/2022, 0033 HOURS, 7XX VIKINGS PKWY ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
Officer responded to assist Eagan Police on a drunkenness call. Mendota Heights, along with the
Minnesota State Patrol, responded to the 700 block of Vikings Parkway for a significantly damaged
vehicle. The occupants had left the vehicle. Officers made contact with the registered owner ’s
apartment. A female was arrested for suspicion of DUI, but due to conflicting statements, she was
released at the scene. Eagan Police completed a crash report for this case. No further action was taken
by Mendota Heights.

4/24/2022, 0836 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY THEFT
Officers responded to a shoplifting call from the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Suspect took
items and left without paying. Officers are waiting for surveillance footage and suspect information.
4/24/2022, 1400 HOURS, 21XX AZTEC LN DOMESTIC
Officer was dispatched to follow up with a party involved in a family dispute the previous week. The
party is now stating that they have visible marks from an assault that occurred. Photographs and video
reviewed. Case sent to City Attorney for charges.
4/25/2022, 0940 HOURS, 7XX RIDGE PL FOUND BICYCLE
Resident from Ridge Pl called to report some abandoned property. The property is a blue Magna 18
speed women's bicycle. It had been sitting along a silt fence for over a week. The item has been placed
in the water tower. The serial number was covered by a bracket. Officer was able to get a partial serial
number.
4/25/2022, 1256 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY FRAUD
Officer was contacted by a male who operates a business out of his home and discovered that a
payment was sent to an unknown account. The owner believes his email was hacked and accounting
sent the payment to the suspect. Case inactive.
4/25/2022, 1358 HOURS, 16XX LILYDALE RD THEFT
Officers were dispatched to a suspicion call near the 1600 block of Lilydale Road. Reporting party had
seen two people who appeared to be tampering with someone ’s car and then leaving the scene in a car
with concealed license plates. During investigation, it was determined that they had removed the
catalytic converter off of the car. Suspects unknown. Case inactive.
4/26/2022, 2322 HOURS, 14XX DODD RD RUNAWAY
Officers were dispatched to a missing person report at the 1400 block of Dodd Road. Officers made
contact with the adult male reporting party, who advised his juvenile son has been missing since 1815
hours. It was unknown where son was. The next day, officers were notified the son was at a friend ’s
house; contact was made and the son agreed to go home.
4/27/2022, 1955 HOURS, HWY 62/LEXINGTON AVE WARRANT
Officer stopped vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver had multiple warrants out of Scott County.
The driver was arrested and taken to Dakota County Jail. The vehicle was towed.
