Res 2021- 94 Reappointment of Members to Commissions CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 2021 - 94 A RESOLUTION REAPPONTING COMMISSIONERS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION, PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION, AND THE AIRPORT RELATIONS COMMISSION WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights benefits from the active participation of citizens in representing the City on boards and commissions; and WHEREAS,the Planning Commission serves as an advisory body to the City Council. They advise the City Council on matters pertaining to comprehensive planning, amendments to the zoning code,conditional use permits,wetlands permits, and development plans; and WHEREAS,the Parks and Recreation Commission serves as an advisory body to the City Council.They advise the Council on matters pertaining to parks and recreational programs,the use and operation of parks and recreational facilities, and improvement of the parks and recreational facilities; and WHEREAS,the City Council recognizes the excellent service provided by the following commission.members/representatives whose terms will expire January 31,2022. Planning Commission (3 year term, starting February 2022 -expiring January 2025): Andrew Katz Brian Petschel Michael Toth Parks and Recreation Commission(3 year term, starting February 2022 -expiring January 2025): Daniel Sherer Stephanie Meyer Airvort Relations Commission(3 year term, starting February 2022-expiring January 2025): Jeffrey Hamiel NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mendota Heights City Council that it reappoints Michael Toth and Andrew Katz to the Planning Commission for a 3 year term to expire on January 31, 2025;Daniel Sherer and Stephanie Meyer to the Parks and Recreation Commission for a 3 year term to expire on January 31, 2025; and Jeffrey Hamiel to the Airport Relations Commission for a 3 year term to expire on January 31,2025.
