DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 2XXX PILOT KNOB RD 10/01/21, 0809 HOURS
Officer called about an outhouse that had been tipped over near the 2000 block of Pilot Knob Road. There
is no available suspect information.
PI ACCIDENT — 2XXX HWY 13 10/01/21, 1818 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to an accident with possible injuries at the 2100 block of Hwy 13. Officers found a
vehicle crashed into a building. Medics transported the driver to the hospital. Fire Department assessed
structural integrity of building. There were no other injuries.
DWI — HWY 62/DELAWARE AVE 10/02/21, 0210 HOURS
Officer was on routine patrol traveling eastbound Highway 62 and Delaware Ave. Officer observed a vehicle
traveling the same direction in front of him. Officer stopped the vehicle for its driving conduct and
speeding. Officer identified the adult male driver and while speaking with him, observed signs of
impairment. Officer had the driver perform SFSTs and placed the driver under arrest for DWI. The driver
was transported to the Dakota County Jail where he was booked in.
DWI — 7XX MAIN ST 10/02/21, 2011 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Main Street for a welfare check. Officers made contact with a
party in a vehicle. The party was determined to be impaired on alcohol and was placed under arrest. Driver
was transported to jail and the infant child in the vehicle was turned over to Ramsey County Child
Protective Services.
WARRANT — 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL 10/02/21, 2226 HOURS
Officer was called to 1300 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy on a report of a disturbance. Officer identified
male involved and he was determined to have warrants out of Ramsey County. He was transported to
Dakota County Jail for the warrants.
BURGLARY — 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 10/03/21, 0846 HOURS
Officer took a theft report from the 2300 block of Lexington Ave. Reporting party stated that their enclosed
trailer was stolen from the underground parking garage overnight. The trailer was also full of tools and
equipment. Officer gathered information; investigation active.
IMPERSONATION — HWY 55/SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 10/03/21, 2029 HOURS
Officer received a call for service about an interaction with a police officer from the day prior. Speaking
with the male, officer determined that the agency was not Mendota Heights. Caller stated he was a federal
agent and refused to give his agency. Caller was argumentative with officer when asked for his agency and
hung up. Case is under investigation for impersonating a peace officer.

FLEEING — HWY 62/35E 10/4/21, 0022 HOURS
Officer heard a nearby agency air a pursuit. Officer observed a vehicle driving eastbound in the westbound
lanes of Hwy 62. Vehicle was coming head on with the squad. Officer was able to get out of the way of the
vehicle as the vehicle went northbound on Hwy 35E. The vehicle then went the wrong way on 35E and
officer discontinued.
THEFT — 21XX LEXINGTON AVE 10/4/21, 1109 HOURS
Officers took several reports from victims who had vases stolen from their loved ones graves at the
cemetery. No suspects.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 10/4/21, 2355 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to a disturbance on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. After speaking with all
parties involved and a bystander, it was determined to be a domestic assault. The male was placed under
arrest for domestic assault and was transported to Dakota County Jail.
OFP NOTIFICATION — 6XX HAMPSHIRE DR 10/5/21, 1439 HOURS
Officer was assisting with traffic control after a motor vehicle crash on Dodd Road and Mendota Heights
Road. Officer recognized a passing vehicle whose driver had an order for protection against him and was
currently driving in the direction of protected residence. Officer caught up with the driver on the 600 block
of Hampshire Drive. Driver was cited for speed, no proof of insurance, and served his amended order for
protection. Driver was released from the scene with their citation.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 1XXX WAGON WHEEL TR 10/6/21, 0901 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to a report of theft from motor vehicle on the 1000 block of Wagon Wheel Trail.
Officers found that a vehicle was broken into by breaking a window and multiple items were taken from
the vehicle. There are no suspects at this time.
FRAUD — 11XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 10/6/21, 0932 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to a condominium parking lot in the 1100 block of Hwy 13. The reporting party is an
employee of a lawn maintenance company. The employee reported that two backpack-style blowers, and
his backpack were stolen from the work truck. The employee had his credit card stolen and was later used
at a BP station in Bloomington, MN. I have contacted the store in an attempt to obtain store video. It is
possible that a hat found near the work truck belongs to the suspect. The hat was collected and entered
into evidence. Under investigation.

WEAPONS — 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 10/06/21, 1807 HOURS
Officers received a report of a juvenile male having a handgun pointed at him on the 2300 block of
Lexington Ave. The male stated he was delivering pizzas when he walked past a black sedan. A female
occupant inside the sedan pointed a gun at him and told him to leave the area. He left the area and so did
the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was not located. Under investigation.
DWI — SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY/35E 10/07/21, 0016 HOURS
Officer was traveling southbound on Hwy 13 and 35E when he observed a vehicle parked on the
southbound shoulder, and stopped to conduct a motorist assist. Officer observed an adult male sleeping in
the driver’s seat of the vehicle. After numerous attempts to wake the driver, officer observed signs of
impairment. Field sobriety tests were performed and the officer believed the male was to be under the
influence of a controlled substance. Officer arrested the male and a search warrant was obtained for his
blood. The driver was transported to Dakota County Jail.
THEFT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 10/07/21, 1259 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to a report of a suspicious person on the 1300 block of Northland Dr. Officers
arrived on scene and spoke with the reporting party who stated that multiple items were taken from their
room while they were in custody. Under investigation.
DISTURBING THE PEACE — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 10/07/21, 2035 HOURS
Officer received a report of an adult male making threatening gestures towards an adult female on the
1300 block of Northland Dr. Officer spoke with the female who stated the male made finger gun motions
towards her and she felt unsafe. Officers spoke with the male party who stated he didn't intend to make
the gun motion and wanted to just shake fingers at her.
ASSAULT — 35E/MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 10/07/21, 2259 HOURS
Officers responded to a shooting on 35E and Mendota Heights Rd. The victim ’s vehicle was shot at several
times. No one was injured. No suspects at this time. Under investigation.
