FRAUD — 14XX KNOLLWOOD LN 08/27/21, 0956 HOURS
Victim called to report his employer received notice of an unemployment claim under his name. He did not
apply for unemployment benefits. No loss and no suspects.
MENTAL HEALTH — 13XX LAURA ST 08/29/21, 0304 HOURS
Officers dispatched to a disturbance at the 1300 block of Laura Street. Officers made contact with the adult
female reporting party who was having a mental health crisis. Officers detained the adult female and
medics transported the female to the hospital on a mental health hold.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT — 13XX DODD RD 08/29/21, 1234 HOURS
Officers responded to a past action assault via phone. Officers obtained statements from the suspect,
victim and witnesses. The case will be forwarded to the city attorney for charges.
SUICIDE — 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 08/29/21, 1552 HOURS
Officers responded to a suicidal call at the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy bridge. Officers gathered
information from the reporting party and located a subject who jumped from the bridge. Officers worked
with medical and rescue staff on live saving measures for the patient but ultimately the patient succumbed
to the injuries.
FRAUD — 9XX CAREN RD 08/30/21, 0909 HOURS
Officers responded to a theft and fraud report by phone. Officers concluded the victim had a check stolen
and the victim’s account number was used to try and open a new account. Under investigation.
MENTAL HEALTH — WACHTLER AVE/CHERRY HILL RD 08/30/21, 1111 HOURS
WSPPD officers were dispatched a crisis call. The male was found in our city and was placed on a mental
health hold.
MENTAL HEALTH — 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 08/30/21, 1326 HOURS
Officers responded to the 1300 block of Sibley Memorial Highway in Mendota for a disturbance. Subject
went into a local business and made threats inside. Officers met with the subject and determined it was
mental health related. The subject was placed on a mental health hold.
THEFT — 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 08/30/21, 1231 HOURS
Officer responded to a local business on a theft report. Flowers and a bird feeder were taken from the
outside of the business. This was the second occurrence in the past week. No suspects.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 25XX CONCORD WAY 08/30/21, 1447 HOURS
Officers responded to a theft report on the 2500 block of Concord Way. Victim reported a catalytic
convertor that was stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway. The case status is inactive.

TRESPASS — 16XX LILYDALE RD 08/30/21, 2216 HOURS
Officers responded to the area of Lilydale Road on a report of people throwing crates and doing donuts in
the parking lot. Officers located the suspect vehicle and the occupants were given a trespass notice by
management.
DANCO VIOLATION — 16XX LILYDALE RD 08/31/21, 0248 HOURS
Officer stopped out with a suspicious vehicle on the 1600 block of Lilydale Road. One party in the vehicle
was arrested for a DANCO violation and transported to Dakota County Jail. The other party was transported
to the hospital.
CHECK WELFARE — 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 08/31/21, 0315 HOURS
Officers observed a individual walking in the street at the 1300 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Officers
spoke with the party and assisted with a transport to a hospital for evaluation.
WARRANT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 08/31/21, 0924 HOURS
Officer located a vehicle whose owner had an active felony warrant and was believed to be staying at a
hotel on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Officers made contact with the owner of the vehicle at their
hotel room and was taken into custody without incident. Suspect was booked into the Dakota County Jail
for their felony warrant.
THEFT OF MAIL — XX HINGHAM CI 08/31/21, 1634 HOURS
Officer reported to location on a theft of mail report. Reporting party stated that he believes that his mail
was stolen from his mailbox the day prior. No suspects.
TRAFFIC STOP/DRUGS — 15XX HWY 55 09/02/21, 0006 HOURS
While on patrol, officer observed a vehicle with expired registration and an equipment violation. Officer
stopped the vehicle and identified the driver and passenger. Officer developed probable cause to search
the vehicle. Officer located an unknown substance in one of the female ’s possession. The substance will
be tested and the female was advised she may received charges in the mail.
