FLEEING — 35E SB 06/18/21, 0109 HOURS
Officer was on routine patrol traveling northbound on Lilydale Road. Officer observed a black pickup truck
that appeared to not have license plates on it traveling southbound on Lilydale Road. Officer turned around
to confirm the vehicle did not have any license plates on it. By the time the officer was able to turn around,
the vehicle was on Highway 13. Officer followed the vehicle from Highway 13 to southbound I-35 E. The
vehicle began to accelerate and the officer caught up to it and confirmed it did not have license plates on it.
Officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the vehicle did not stop and maintained its speed. The officer
turned off his emergency lights and did not stop the vehicle for the safety of others on the road.
WARRANT ARREST — 35E S 06/18/21, 2341 HOURS
Officer stopped out with a bicyclist on Interstate 35E and Highway 13. Officer discovered the person had
several active warrants for their arrest. Bicyclist was placed under arrest and booked into the Dakota
County Jail for their warrants. The bicycle and some personal property were entered into secure storage for
safe keeping until arrangements can be made.
SUSPICION OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 06/19/21, 1823 HOURS
Officers dispatched to the 1300 block of Northland Drive for a suspicion call. The adult male reporting party
advised that there were suspicious items in a room at the hotel and that he hasn't seen the resident for
about a week. Officers obtained a search warrant and executed the search warrant on the room. Items
were seized and entered into evidence. Report made.
IDENTITY THEFT — 12XX BIRCH COURT 06/21/21, 1654 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to an identity theft call at the 1200 block of Birch Ct. The reporting party stated that
she had multiple charges to her credit card from an online food service. The reporting party advised that
she had since cancelled her credit card. Officer gathered information. Officer contacted the online food
service and spoke with staff about the transactions. Officer wrote a report.
DRUGS/ DAC IPS — 15XX HWY 55 06/22/21, 0109 HOURS
Officer conducted traffic stop on the Mendota Bridge. Officer learned that the driver was cancelled -IPS, he
was arrested and during the search officers found suspected methamphetamine. Driver was transported to
Dakota County Jail on a book and release status.

CIVIL/OFP NOTIFICATION — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 06/22/21, 0835 HOURS
Officer conducted a traffic stop on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. The driver of the vehicle did not have
a license to drive and was currently revoked status. The driver also had an order for protection issued
against her that had not been served. Officer served the driver with the order for protection notice and she
was released without charges.
MISSING PERSON — 7XX CREEK AVE 06/22/21, 1121 HOURS
Responded to the 700 block of Creek Avenue on a missing juvenile and vehicle report. The juvenile and
vehicle were located at a friend's home. Report filed for informational purposes.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 16XX LILYDALE RD 06/22/21, 1100 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to a theft from motor vehicle call at the 1600 block of Lilydale Rd. Reporting party
stated that his vehicle window was smashed and an item was taken from the glove box. Officer gathered
information and wrote report.
FRAUD — 12XX CENTRE POINTE CURVE 06/21/21, 1510 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to a fraud activity report at 1200 Centre Point Curve. The reporting party stated that
they were swindled for $800 dollars in gift cards over text and email. Officer gathered information and
wrote report.
THEFT/TAMPERING WITH MOTOR VEHICLE — 23XX PILOT KNOB RD 06/22/21, 1541 HOURS
Officer took a report of theft and motor vehicle tampering from the 2300 block of Pilot Knob Rd. Reporting
party had items taken from their vehicle and might know the suspect information. Suspect contacted and
officer waiting to hear from an attorney. Case under investigation.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON — 12XX 2ND STREET 06/24/21, 0051 HOURS
Officers responded to the 1200 block of 2nd street in Mendota on a possible burglary in process. Suspect
was known to officers and detained. Suspect possessed drugs. He was arrested for 5th degree controlled
substance offense. Suspect was booked and released from the Dakota County Jail.
BURGLARY — 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 06/24/21, 1425 HOURS
Property manager of an apartment complex called to report a burglary. Two unknown suspects followed a
resident into the underground garage. Once inside they stole a golf cart and miscellaneous tools. The golf
cart has been recovered, the tools have not been. There are photos of the suspects.
