THEFT — 7XX MAIN ST 05/07/21, 2001 HOURS
Officer responded to location on a past action theft report. The reporting party stated that three females
received services and when they were done, left the salon and fled in a vehicle. Case under investigation.
DOG BITE — 24XX PILOT KNOB RD 05/08/21, 1352 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to a business on the 2400 block of Pilot Knob Road, on report of a dog bite. Officer
arrived and spoke with the victim who was at the business assisting her friend during the friend's dog
training session. During the training session, one of the dogs bit the victim in their hand and leg. Medics
treated the victim onsite. Staff of the business requested a police report of the incident.
PARKING COMPLAINT/HRO — MARIE AVE/DODD RD 05/08/21, 2144 HOURS
Officer received a report of a vehicle parked in the middle of the road at Marie Avenue and Dodd Avenue.
Upon arrival, the officer observed a vehicle parked partly on the shoulder and blocking a majority of the
roadway. The adult female owner came out of a house the vehicle was parked in front of and claimed the
vehicle. Officer learned the owner had an unserved HRO against her. Officer served the owner for the HRO.
DWI — HWY 62/LEXINGTON AVE 05/08/21, 2214 HOURS
Officer was on routine patrol when officer noticed vehicle traveling at a low rate of speed on Hwy; vehicle
was blocking traffic of other vehicles. Officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of an alcoholic
beverage coming from the driver. The driver completed SFST's. Officer arrested the driver. Driver
completed breath test at the MHPD. Driver was transported to Dakota County Jail.
THEFT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 05/09/21, 0954 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to a hotel on Northland Dr. A guest discovered that his catalytic convertor had been
stolen from his vehicle. The unknown suspect caused damage to the exhaust system as well. Time frame
was between 05/05/2021 - 05/09/2021. Officer the owner with this case number. There are no cameras in
the parking lot.
DISTURBING THE PEACE — 1XXX DOWNING ST 05/09/21, 1120 HOURS
Officer responded to the 1000 block of Downing St for a suspicious male in the back yard of the residence
yelling about his lost cell phone. Officer had dealt with the party previously. The party was an Uber driver
and had a lost cell phone in his car from the previous night. Cell phone retrieved and party warned.
DAC-IPS — HWY 13/HWY 55 05/10/21, 0306 HOURS
Officer was on routine patrol traveling north on Highway 13/Highway 55. Traveling the same direction, was
a vehicle with equipment violations. Officer stopped the vehicle and identified the adult male driver. The
adult male driver's driving status was canceled-IPS. The driver was informed he will be receiving charges in
the mail. The driver was able to call for someone to pick up the car.

DWI — HWY 62/HWY 13 05/11/21, 0253 HOURS
Officer conducted traffic stop on a vehicle WB 62 / 13. Officer noticed signs of impairment and conducted
SFSTs on driver, who was deemed to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance. A search warrant
was signed and issued. Blood was drawn from the driver and he was transported to Dakota on a book and
release. Case Status - Active, pending BCA /results.
BURGLARY — 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 05/11/21, 0857 HOURS
Responded to a burglary report in the 1000 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. No suspects or evidence.
Report filed. Case is inactive.
THEFT/PROPERTY DAMAGE — 16XX LILYDALE RD 05/11/21, 1405 HOURS
Officer took a damage to property call from the 1600 block of Lilydale Rd. Overnight, the air condenser unit
was heavily damaged and copper was stolen from the inside. No suspects known. Inactive.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 14XX HWY 13 05/11/21, 1416 HOURS
Responded to a reported theft of a catalytic converter while vehicle was parked in the 1400 block of Hwy
13. No suspects or evidence. Case is inactive.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 24XX LEXINGTON AVE 05/12/21, 1357 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to a report of a catalytic convertor theft. Case pending security footage.
DRUGS — 7XX CREEK AVE 05/12/21, 1643 HOURS
Officer observed vehicle driving on Dodd/Hokah. Vehicle turned off and officers received a call about that
same vehicle. Officer relocated vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. An investigation found drugs and
paraphernalia. The male was transported to Dakota County Jail. Case has been referred to DCDTF.
DWI — 35E/WAGON WHEEL TR 05/13/21, 0010 HOURS
Officer conducted a traffic stop on I-35E and Wagon Wheel Trail. The driver exhibited signs of impairment
and officer performed a field sobriety test. The driver was determined to be over the legal limit and was
placed under arrest. Officers also located a loaded firearm inside the vehicle. The driver was booked and
released from the Dakota County Jail. The vehicle was impounded to Marks Towing. The firearm was
secured at the Police Department for safe keeping until the owner reclaims it.
