VEHICLE TAX EVASION — HWY 62/HWY 35 04/02/21, 0536 HOURS
Officer ran a license plate through state records and was alerted the vehicle's registration was expired.
However, the vehicle had updated registration tabs displayed on the license plate. Officer conducted a
traffic stop and the driver stated his cousin had an extra set of 2021 tab stickers and gave them to him to
use on his car. Driver was advised he needs to get his registration updated immediately and he would be
formally charged for vehicle tax evasion.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES — 19XX CROWN POINTE DR 04/02/21, 1219 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the 1900 block of Crown Point Dr. Reporting party was
approached by a unknown person and was asked about driveway repair services. Reporting party had seen
previous police chatter about this type of thing ultimately being a scam and called 911. The vehicle and
party was gone before officers arrived. It appeared that two driveways were already worked on by this
person. Information gathered, investigation ongoing.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 04/02/21, 1932 HOURS
Officers responded to a phone call report of a theft from vehicle on the 1300 block of Hwy 13. Reporting
party had their laptop taken from their vehicle. Report was filed and no suspects are known at this time.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 04/04/21, 1209 HOURS
Officers took a report of a DANCO violation on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Upon investigation it was
determined that a violation did not occur.
THEFT — 1XXX DOUGLAS ROAD 04/04/21, 2318 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to a report of a theft in progress at the intersection of James/Douglas. Officers
found suspects and determined a theft was occurring. Male suspect was arrested for theft. His vehicle was
towed and he and his daughter were given a ride to St. Paul. Case Status - Pending formal charges.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 7XX PLAZA DR 04/05/21, 1002 HOURS
Responded to the 700 block of S Plaza Dr in reference to damage to an automobile. Unknown suspect(s)
removed the catalytic convertor from a parked vehicle. The theft is believed to have taken place over the
Easter weekend. No suspects.
THEFT — 25XX BEDFORD CT 04/05/21, 1440 HOURS
Resident reported his rear license tab had been stolen. No suspects.
PD ACCIDENT/HIT & RUN — DELAWARE AVE/MARIE AVE 04/05/21, 1634 HOURS
Officer dispatched to a past action hit and run at the intersection of Delaware Ave and Marie Ave. Resident reported she was out
for a run when she was hit by a vehicle. There were no injuries. Suspect was located but victim did not want to press charge s for
hit and run. Officer issued a citation for failure to yield to a pedestrian.

THEFT OF MAIL — 7XX STANWICH LN 04/05/21, 1843 HOURS
Officer dispatched to a theft of mail from the 700 block of Stanwich Ln. The reporting party stated that she
put mail out in her mailbox for the mail person to pick up and later in the day noticed that it had been
stolen. No suspects.
FRAUD — 22XX BENT TREE LN 04/05/21, 1955 HOURS
Officer took a report for suspected fraud/scam involving remote computer access. Case is inactive.
DISTURBANCE — 5XX BUTLER AVE 04/05/21, 2307 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to 500 block of Butler Ave on a report of a domestic. After investigation, it was
determined that no domestic had occurred.
THEFT — 21XX LEXINGTON AVE 04/06/21, 1355 HOURS
Officer took a theft report from the 2100 block of Lexington Ave. Two lawn mowers were taken sometime
over the weekend. No suspects known. VIN's entered into NCIC. Inactive.
THEFT — 21XX AZTEC LN 04/06/21, 1423 HOURS
Officers responded to a report of a utility trailer and an all-terrain vehicle that had been stolen sometime
within the past 12 hours. The trailer was located in Roseville and had been in a collision. Case under
investigation.
DISTURBING THE PEACE — 24XX LEXINGTON AVE 04/06/21, 1952 HOURS
Officers responded to a residence for a domestic disturbance. The reporting party decided to obtain an
HRO in the future.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT — 16XX DODD RD 04/07/21, 2241 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Dodd Road on a report of a domestic assault. The victim
reported their spouse pushed them down, causing injury. Officers arrived on scene and took statements
from both parties involved. The victim was evaluated by medics on scene for their injuries. The suspect was
arrested without incident and booked into the Dakota County Jail.
IDENTITY THEFT — 11XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 04/08/21, 1203 HOURS
Officer was called to a woman’s place of employment as she wanted to report someone was trying to file
for unemployment in her name. No financial loss took place and there are no suspects.
