DRUGS — 494/PILOT KNOB RD 03/05/21, 2334 HOURS
Officers observed a vehicle near 494 and Pilot Knob Road speeding. Vehicle was stopped at 494 and 24th
Ave in Bloomington for speed. While talking with the driver, officers could smell the odor of marijuana
coming from the vehicle. Upon search of the vehicle officers located large amounts of illegal narcotics.
Officer took the driver into custody and he was transported to jail.
MAIL THEFT — 18XX EAGLE RIDGE DR 03/06/21, 0833 HOURS
Officer received information about mail found in the Eagle Ridge area. The mail was addressed to
numerous homes in the Lilac Lane area. Mail was gathered and returned to addresses and owners notified.
Case inactive pending further information.
THEFT — 21XX THERESA ST 03/06/21, 1107 HOURS
Complainant reported a catalytic converter stolen from their vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of
their residence in the 2100 block of Theresa Street. There are no suspects. Case inactive.
ROBBERY/ASSAULT — 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 03/06/21, 2233 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to a report of an assault at the 2300 block of Lexington Avenue. The male
aggressor had fled the scene before police arrival. Victim denied medical assistance. KOPS alert was placed
on male. Investigation determined multiple different crimes had occurred. Case will be forwarded to the
county attorney.
TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS — 35E/WAGON WHEEL TR 03/07/21, 0232 HOURS
Officer conducted a traffic stop for a speed violation that occurred on I-35E near Wagon Wheel Trail. The
vehicle was discovered to have incorrect plates and the driver did not have a valid license. Ownership of
the vehicle was unable to be determined and vehicle registration was showing expired for years. Driver and
passenger were given a ride to a residence in south Minneapolis. Vehicle was impounded to Marks Towing
for unregistered motor vehicle on public roadway. Vehicle ownership is still being investigated.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 14XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 03/08/21, 0740 HOURS
Officer took a damage to property report from the 1400 block of Mendota Heights Road. Suspect
attempted to cut a catalytic converter off of a vehicle but was unsuccessful. The underside of the car was
damaged. Suspects vehicle information was given to the officer. After investigation, it was determined that
the vehicle was previously sold to an unknown party and the registered owner is not involved.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 13XX ACACIA BLVD 03/08/21, 1040 HOURS
Female using the Dog Park had her vehicle broke into. The unknown suspect shattered the driver ’s door
window, gained entry and stole her purse.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 14XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 03/08/21, 1039 HOURS
Officers received information about a person who was going through vehicles near the 1400 block of Sibley
Memorial Highway. Officers found the suspect vehicle but it fled, ultimately getting away. The suspect got
into multiple vehicles and took items from the inside. No suspect license plate information. Inactive.
THEFT — 1XXX DAKOTA DR 03/08/21, 1146 HOURS
Responded to a report of a theft of a catalytic converter from a parked car in the 1000 block of Dakota
Drive. Suspect vehicle was also involved in another similar theft during the same time frame in another part
of the city. An alert was sent out to surrounding police agencies to try and locate the suspect vehicle and
identify the driver and any occupants. Case is inactive unless/until a suspect is identified.
DOMESTIC — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 03/08/21, 1802 HOURS
Officers dispatched to a domestic/disturbance at the 1300 block of Northland Dr. The reporting party
stated that her boyfriend dragged her through the hallway and that the male had since left in his vehicle.
Officers gathered information from the female. Officers located the male in a nearby parking lot and spoke
with him about the incident.
DOMESTIC — 3XX E ST 03/08/21, 1958 HOURS
Officer dispatched to a domestic assault at the 300 block of E St. The reporting party stated that her
boyfriend punched her in the head twice. Officer gathered information and attempted to located the
boyfriend. Medics arrived on scene and assessed the reporting party for injuries. Medics transported
female to hospital. Officers located the male suspect who stated that he did strike his girlfriend. Officer
arrested the male and the male was transported to Dakota County Jail.
THEFT/FRAUD — 18XX DODD RD 03/09/21, 1521 HOURS
Officer dispatched to a theft of debit card at the 1800 block of Dodd Rd. The reporting party stated that a
debit card was sent to her and that it was stolen from her mailbox. She stated that she was notified by Prior
Lake PD that they had her debit card. Officer gathered information and collected security footage from
stores that the card was used.
DUMPING/LITTERING — 8XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 03/09/21, 1735 HOURS
Officer observed a party illegally dumping construction rubbish over the side of the bluffs. Officer made
contact with the party who stated he thought it was a good place to get rid of the rubbish. Citation issued.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 03/09/21, 1945 HOURS
Officer dispatched to a theft from motor vehicle at the 1300 block of Northland Dr. The reporting party
stated that her vehicle window had been smashed and her purse had been taken. Officer gathered
information and wrote report. Officer will attempt to get security footage from business.

TRAFFIC STOP/DRUGS — DODD RD/BACHELOR AVE 03/09/21, 2334 HOURS
Officer observed a vehicle conduct moving violations and equipment violations. Officer stopped the vehicle
and with probable cause, searched the vehicle finding controlled substances, paraphernalia and other
illegal items. The male was placed under arrest and transported to jail.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE — 1XXX CHIPPEWA AVE 03/10/21, 0844 HOURS
Complainant reported their vehicle was stolen while it was parked unsecured in the driveway of a
residence in the 1000 block of Chippewa Avenue. The key to the vehicle was in another unsecured vehicle.
Suspects struck other vehicle as they were leaving. Vehicle entered into NCIC as stolen.
BURGLARY — 25XX EXECUTIVE DR 03/10/21, 1030 HOURS
Employee reported her wallet was stolen. An unknown male entered an unsecured entrance door and
stole the wallet. The credit cards contained in the wallet were used in nearby cities. Case under
investigation.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 03/10/21, 1255 HOURS
Victim stopped for lunch at a bar / restaurant on Hwy 13 in Mendota. Victim returned to his vehicle,
discovered the front passenger window was smashed. The victim had a leather bag and pea coat stolen.
There are no suspects.
THEFT — 16XX LILYDALE RD 03/11/21, 1612 HOURS
Officer received a past action report of a person who is taking the nuts and bolts out from the railroad
bridge on Lilydale Rd. Reporting party stated this must have been going on for quite some time and re-
quested extra patrols.
WARRANT — 494/DODD RD 03/11/21, 2214 HOURS
Officer conducted a random license plate query on a vehicle and the owner came back with a felony
warrant out of Dakota County. Officer stopped the vehicle, made contact with the owner and arrested the
male for the warrant.
