PD ACCIDENT — PILOT KNOB ROAD 01/14/21, 1218 HOURS
Officers responded to a property damage crash at the intersection of Pilot Knob Road and Mendota Heights
Road. Vehicle was northbound Pilot Knob Road and went through a red light striking another vehicle.
Witnessed by two individuals who confirmed. Both vehicles inoperable and privately towed by Mark's
Towing. Driver that ran red light cited for failure to exercise due care. State Accident Report completed.
HIT & RUN ACCIDENT— 35E 01/14/21, 2338 HOURS
While sitting at the intersection of Hwy 62 and Carmen Ln providing lights for a tow truck, officers observed
a vehicle strike a MN DOT sign and leave the scene of the accident. Officers caught up with the vehicle and
the driver admitted to hitting the sign. The driver's information was gathered and they were cited for hit
and run.
MISC — 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 01/15/21, 2207 HOURS
Officer received a report of a liquor establishment open past 2200 hours on the 900 block of Sibley
Memorial Highway. Officer spoke with the reporting party and documented the incident.
THEFT — 25XX EXECUTIVE DRIVE 01/16/21, 1441 HOURS
Officer dispatched a theft call at the 2500 block of Executive Dr. The reporting party advised that her
catalytic converter was stolen from her vehicle while she was at work. Officer gathered information and
wrote report. The reporting party advised that security footage would be available.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE— 14XX HWY 13 01/17/21, 0858 HOURS
Officer took a report of motor vehicle tampering from the 1400 block of Highway 13. A vehicle was broken
into and items were taken. A credit card was taken and used at a retail store in a neighboring city. Officers
are waiting for surveillance footage. Case active.
HIT & RUN ACCIDENT — 13XX NORTHLAND DRIVE 01/17/21, 1009 HOURS
Victim had her vehicle parked, unoccupied in a parking lot in the 1300 block of Northland Dr. Witness
observed a pickup truck back into the victims vehicle, causing damage. Witness was not able to obtain a
license plate from the suspect vehicle. Victim will be checking guest registry for possible vehicle owner
information. Case Status: Inactive

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE— 19XX WALSH LANE 01/17/21, 1147 HOURS
Officer took a report of motor vehicle tampering and theft from the 1900 block of Walsh Ln. Overnight the
vehicle was entered and items were taken. No forced entry was used. No suspects known. Case inactive.
THEFT BY SWINDLE — 7XX APACHE LANE 01/18/21, 1109 HOURS
Officers took a report of fraud from the 700 block of Apache Lane. Reporting party ’s elderly father, who has
dementia was defrauded money in an investment scheme. Investigation ongoing.
OFP SERVICE — 20XX HWY 13 01/18/21, 1410 HOURS
Vehicle stopped for speed violation, 2000 block of Hwy 13. Driver ID'd by MN ID card. Ran license check,
driver came back with an unserved OFP. Short form completed, driver provided with respondent ’s copy.
INFO ONLY — 7XX MAIN STREET 01/18/21, 1554 HOURS
Officer dispatched to a possible fraud call at the 700 block of Main St. The reporting party stated that a
customer came into the store and purchased an item with a possible fraudulent credit card. Staff advised
that the customer appeared to have over forty other credit cards with him. Officer gathered information
and wrote report. Informational report at this time.
3RD DEG DWI — MARIE AVENUE 01/18/21, 2255 HOURS
Officer observed vehicle speeding on Lexington Ave/ Dakota Dr. Officer observed vehicle weaving and
conducted a traffic stop at Marie / Overlook. Driver showed signs of impairment, driver submitted to
breath test. Driver was transported to Dakota County Jail for book and release. Case Status is Arrest.
HRO VIOLATION — 23XX APACHE COURT 01/19/21, 1755 HOURS
Suspect violated an HRO by making threats of violence. Suspect was ultimately arrested in another
jurisdiction.
