Environmental Criteria for Planned Unit Develcpment Proiects Proposed by Lee Starr. Discussed and accepted. Starr and StPfani to present same to Council June 6, 1972. II. Mid Continent Development - Highway 110 and 35E Request from Ridgwood Park - Somerset Hills Neighborhood Assn. to review environmental impact criteria prior to final Planning Commission meeting June 2S, 1972. This review to include 1) environmental impact 2) storm sewer plan 3) sewer hook-up plan. 0. Johnson directed to provide copy o£ study to Stefani as soon as it is received. Stefani to distribute copies. III. Slope and Wetland Conservation Exchange of letters between Dwinnell and Starr. Contents discussed in detail. Lee Starr directed to prepare a rc-:gh draft of memo to Lund CC: Don iiuber. This memo will outline the project status and will request that the Planning Commission take positive action based on recent opinions and judgments offered by Starr and Dwinnell IV. Recreation - Summer Sandy Sclaure reports we have an organized girls softball team. We have a self-supporting archery program in process. Sandy has plans to organize a ladies softball program. - 2 - V. Federal Grants No further progress. Starr will notify H.U.D. that the Village is in the process of acquiring land options. VI. Development - Summer Bid awared to Elmac - $15,000. Projects will be complete3 in 30 days with a 60 day maintenance clause. VII. Land Options and/or Acquisition Options are being worked on. Orvil will ask Parranto for a status report. Ridder9 :ieieretto� Lawlsr to draft a letter re: establishing a policy related to the current practice of using gifted park land in density calculations. VIII. Budset Reviewed and Discussed. Johnson and Franzmeier will present a proposed work schedule for the balance of 1972, at the next meeting. This will be used as a basis for containing our expenditures within the scope of the budget. Levine requested purchasing a weed sprayer. Stefani will check with Murphy on possibility of borrowing or renting. IX. Hockey Board Plan Ivy Falls - Boards down, painted and stored. Friendly Hills - Boards downy painted and stored. Wentworth - Boards down - to be painted and stored. Marie Ave. - Boards will remain up. Will be painted. Report from Jim Losleben on kick -brace type hockey board construction. Motior. passed to use this concept starting this year. Franzmeier and Levine to provide cost analysis at the next meeting. X. NEXT MEETING - Monday. June 26, 1972. All scheduled meetings will be on the last Monday of the month. i i
