Fr 2(eI16/,p e City Ad istrat SUBJECT: Date for Workshop with Parks Commission and Planner The Parks Commission hopes to wrap up preparation of the Comprehensive Parks Plan at its meeting of January 14. They are then eager to have a joint workshop with the Council to discuss the results of that study, and how we proceed with development of the parks bond referendum. Chairman Stein has suggested the night of Wednesday, January 22, at 7:30 P.M. for a joint session. Our parks planners from Barton-Aschman are also available for that evening. Therefore, I would suggest that we set that date, or if that is impossible, have Council select an alternative. ACTION REQUIRED To select a date for a joint meeting with the Parks Commission. KDF:madlr CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS MEMO December 11, 178 T0: Park and Recreation Co ssion AND Barry Warner FROM: Kevin D. Fraz City Admin" o SUBJECT: December loth Cancelled Meeting As you all know, the December loth meeting o£ the Commission was cancelled because several of the members were not going to be able to attend. I did talk with Barry Warner, who was planning to present the Trails Plan on Tuesday evening. Barry said that he did not see anything terribly controversial about the Trails Plan, and felt that it could be folded into the January 14th meeting of the Commission. Therefore, there will not be a need for a special meeting. Barry hopes that the January 14th meeting will wrap up the. Park Study, so that the Commission can then schedule a joint session with the City Council early next year to talk about the recommendations. Best Wishes for the Holidays! RDF:madlr December 4, 1985 CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS PARKAND RECREATION COMMISSION D i}MTTTi144 Just a note to remind everyone that the next Park and Recreation Commission meeting will be held on Tuesday evening, Dec emberlOth, at 7:00 o'clock P.M., instead of the normal time of 7:30 P.M. We will be meeting in the City Council Chambers for further discussion on the Comprehensive Park Study. See you on Tuesday. CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS MEMO November 7, 1985 T0: Park and Recreation Commission FROM: Kevin D. z1 City Ad nist ato SUBJECT: Change of Time for Park Commission Meeting The agenda for Tuesday evening's meeting has gotten so long that Chair Stein has decided to convene the meeting at 6:30 P.M. The discussion of the Comprehensive Park Study with the Barton-Aschman staff has been placed last on the agenda, with the hope that all of the other items can be dispensed with by 7:30. One item has been added to the agenda from that sent out earlier, that being a presentation from Friendly Hills Civic Association regarding parks planning for the southeast area of the City.
